Then you won't get very far, sorry to tell you that. As has been stated, the ZR1 is the only one out of the list I'd take. The Zonda R is a beast, but lacks top speed, which is crucial at Le Mans. And hell to drive for 24h. Your list would be better suited for the Nurburgring 24h, where there are no prototypes (at least IRL, couldn't be bothered to try them on the game).

The GT5 24hr nurburgring has as your main competiter the mazda 787B and a bunch of other group C and LMP cars.

In that case, I would use the McLaren and hope it rains...

(my McLaren can easily make 240 and possibly 250 with stock tranny)

Although the F1 is a cracking car it wont win the Le-mans 24hr unless you are very good or using the GTR version.

Do several races at the Ferrari season at La Sarthe. 500k in under 4 minutes :). Should get you an LMP car quickly.

As above do some seasonalls go buy a peugeot 908 tune it to win or stock for a close race.

787b or a 908 (both stock) will give me a relatively close race?

OP no supercar can be modded to reach the 850kg/750hp level of LMP cars

The McLaren F1 gets the closest tho (883hp/970kg) but its only fast enough in a straight line, bit of a handful thru the corners. Best bet is a LMP car.

Do the Ferrari seasonal event on La Sarthe like someone else mentioned and buy the Mazda 787B from the NCD, it's a great car for the 24HR races and it also sounds great. 👍

Why not go back to the "Like the Wind" event in A-Spec Extreme with the Corvette ZR1 RM or Furai and try and get the Mintola and then try Le Mans?

That would seem like the easiest option to me.

I thought this, but surely if possible, he would have done this already. maybe he's not online.

He could I just really enjoy the 787B.

The race is a pattern, they gain on me up to the Mulsanne straight, then I gain distance up to the Porsche curves. I learned how useful center seat is when cornering, too. I race 3h at a time, and have my iPod going when racing, playlist full of fast paced classics such as highway star, my generation, and born to be wild... So that I keep a good pace.

What did you ended up using?

The zonda R is fun, but it will make the competition very hard, best to choose a stock audi R10, the 908 will easily beat the computers, even if it's stock

Sandstorm. On a continuous loop. For 24 hours. You must fist pump down the Mulsanne. You can't escape the bass thumping goodness :D.

Thanks, my lead has dropped to a third of a lap and need something to get my pace up, if I'm gonna win this race!

POWWWERRRR!!!!!.....

The only car you could win with out of that list is the Corvette ZR1, and Maybe the Zonda R.

The top contenders of that race have 750hp in a 850kg chassis, so...

I think the McLaren F1 Fully Modded has about the same specs as that. I know that's what I'm going to use for the Nurburgring 24 Hour.
