Suspension bottoming out?

Can this really happen in GT5p? I yes, how do you know when it's bottoming out? Does it make a sound or something?

I think you see sparks when the cars bottom out.

its when you reach the maximum of the suspension travel and the car rests on its bump stops - it would feel like, er like this - jump in the air and when you land keep your legs locked in the straight postition and don't bend your knees (suspension) - not nice is it.

I have never experienced this yet, even with the car lowered as much as possible.
