Thanks!The T500 isn't too strong for a wooden stand, but you need some knowledge on how to make the wooden structure a bit more rigid. Which isn't that hard to do.
Heck, my grandpa build me a TV/Audio cabinet and I can easily stand on it. I just won't jump on it because of the poor construction of the wheels under it. lol
There are many joints for example you could use to make a solid construction. That in combination with good glue and screws or nails.
My guess is that if people can build houses out of wood, they should be able to build a solid rig too.

Good to know. I have never owned or tried a T500 and all the reviews mentioned that you need a strong setup when using the T500.
I only meant to say that I thought that a simple wooden wheel stand is not going to be strong enough for the T500 when using the full FFB strenght.
This would definitely be strong enough for the T500. If I start gaming again, I'd not construct something as big as this anymore:
