Hi and welcome to GTPlanet :gtpflag:

Are referring to the "arch" piece at the back of the pedals or do you mean the overall footprint of the pedals? If it is just the arch, it can be removed (remove one of the snap rings and both bolts, slide the bar out, remove the arch put the bar back and re-install the snap ring). This will force you into floor mount style pedals and not allow the GT style mounting.

Here is a picture of a T500RS pedal set with the arch removed:
You can see the snaop ring on the rear bar in the photo.

I looked up the Solberg edition and it is a Playseat without the center post. It looks nice, but I wonder how "bouncy" the steering support will be with the weight of the T500RS wheel (it is VERY heavy compared to the say the G27) :nervous:

Well, this "Solberg Edition" seems to be a 1st generation Playseat. I own it's successor, the Evolution. However, I have doubts, that the pedals fit because of the center post going over the pedals. Also the T500 wheel base is quite heavy, so maybe too much wobble in the wheel deck. But that's only my impression from obsverving pictures. No real-life experience....

I would be more worried about the pedal plate. If you are not fine with the stock soft brake and want to use the stiff brake mod or bushings you will probably have big issues with the pedal tray bending require you to use even more force and possible also chair and aluminium fram bending a bit. My playseat evolution couldn´t handle nixim modded G25 pedals to my standards. It works but it felt like if I would continue run that I would bend sings permanently or even make something snap off in the long run. Solberg seat is perhaps more solid but look quite samish? If you solder the wheel plate it may hold the T500RS decently. Mine was a bit loose but tighten it max it worked with the Fanatec Porsche line setup as well as the G25 I had.

oh if it´s the original version you may be better off. I don´t know if the pedal tray is big enough but that won´t budge. Add some support bars for the steering column and you may get something more rigid then the Evolution. I believe I had the DFP mainly on my classic and there was quite a bit of distracting wobble on it which made me go for the Evolution.

Im not sure exactly what version you have... If it is an original version also known as the classic then yes it will fit. But like the other post said you are going to want to add some support to the wheel deck. This is what I did..
