It's tasteful because it combines a Kei car with a 20b 3-rotor Rotary.
Which has literally nothing to do with if it's tasteful or not.
+1 bafrickinzillion. "Oh, you can't go over speedbumps without needing your bumpers resprayed and your 22s straightened? Awesome..."I care more how a car performs than its looks, so in my eyes, it's taste in performance is staggering.
I'm ruining a streak, but whatever.
And any truck whose suspension is raised, yet doesn't look like it's ever seen a spec of dirt, I call "compensators". Take that as you will.

Well, there never really was one, more of a joke really. Anyways, here you have an interesting example of both things this thread seemingly hates: 70's widen axle and stance.Same here. Also, the streak was ruined a long time ago.
Anyway...

But modifications that enable performance do. I'm the type that believes in only that sort of modification (though I prefer them having been done to street cars, or done to make a street car into a track car) and anything else is bordering on useless. I should also note that I prefer when exterior modifications fit the vehicle they're performed on (like the California-look Beetle I posted recently) and are not in stark contrast (the horrendous wing and front-end effects on that C10 Skyline posted recently).Performance has absolutely zero to do with taste.
@ZedMan1996 That quote was from a hypothetical conversation with someone with a "stanced" car. The lack of functionality (and indeed reduction thereof) makes it pointless and tasteless in my eyes.

They're just fake rednecks. They think they're cool. My friend's brother wants a short bed Cummings that blows smoke and he's one of the nerdiest kids out there who doesn't even need a truck for anything. He's also one of those frat bro Jeep lovers. I like a truck that is used properly. If you have a job or company that requires a truck, sure, fair game, but if you have trucks just to do stupid **** like mud boggin'... yeah, you don't deserve it.
