Because of the size of the island, I'm not sure the PS3 could render all that in real time at 60fps.

Hi ,

No don't expect the PS3 to be really better than XBox360 ; I am working on both, can tell you that :indiff:

Mannnnnnnn why they have 30fps yet again on another microsoft racer.
Don't ***** when the island takes up half the disc space.

You're lucky its at 30FPS. They reported it could have been lower, if even more was included. That's why downloadable places was removed.

Seen that like a month ago, also i think its the one i posted a page or 2 ago mate.

Maybe because of the game has been delayed and websites are still waiting for new vids. And also screens set to them by email.

Actually, according to OXM's Live Schedule as Race To The Weekend, on Dec. 14, Test Drive Unlimited will be on Live at
6PM PT/9PM ET.

Official Xbox Magazine has a schedule of win they will host certain games on Xbox Live!

Test Drive is scheduled for Dec. 14.

Yeah, they have it down for late January.

I'm guessing it will basically be a beta version that we will have to download in order to play on Live?

I bet a demo will come out in the market place sometime early Jan 06 i reckon.

New update for Jaguar and Aston Martin.

Plus some juicy info.
Cool new stuff!

Audio streaming
As well as playing custom soundtracks off your Xbox 360 hard drive, Test Drive Unlimited also lets you stream music off your PC to use for the in-game radio. Talks are also happening about including actual, real-world radio stations in the game, streamed again through the network.

Rent-a-car
If you don’t fancy shelling out for a Pagani Zonda, why not rent one for half an hour? You can use rented cars to compete in vehicle-specific challenges, and the makers plan to cycle the cars on offer so each week there will be something new for you to try out for free.

Flog your cars
A specific marketplace will exist online for selling your tuned cars. Placing an ad is easy – the game fills in all the specs for you, you can then add a description or message of your own, then upload a screenshot of the car taken with the game’s photo mode.

Build an avatar
You never leave the car and walk around, but your in-game character is still an important feature thanks to TDU’s astonishing level of detail. You buy clothes and have a dressing room in your house, and it’s possible to wind down your car’s window and check out other drivers.

Proper finish
The interiors of the cars have been painstakingly recreated too. If a type of car comes with a woodgrain and leather option, you can have that in the game too. One of the Aston Martins comes with an optional chrome grill on the front – that’s in Test Drive Unlimited should you so desire it. It’s very, very realistic.

Glad such a sexy car like the DB7 is in game. And rent a car sounds so kool.

Check this pic out....Hmmm...do these look like Porsches?

Nice, they do! McLaren... do you have a gamertag?
I agree its the headlights and shape of the car, which makes it look like a Porsche.
