Glad they put the DB5 in game, think of the good looking racing with a DB5 against a E-Type.

Not only do the cars in Test Drive Unlimited look like their real life counterparts on the outside, they look the same on the inside too. But it’s not some showroom brochure approximation, this is a fully realised 3D model of the inside of the Lotus Exige or the Lamborghini Gallardo… or the Mercedes SLR or the Mclaren F1 or, in fact, just about any dream car you could think to mention, including classics such as the Audi Quattro or the Ford Mustang Shelby GT and even the less prestigious and more affordable motors like the Audi TT… all your dream cars are in here and they’re in here at a level of detail that you’ll find it hard to get past.

At 1st glance, you could say he mistook the McLaren for the SLR, however, both are mentioned seperately.

According to a site that now has ties with Atari, the Veyron and Elise GT1 are "confirmed."
 
Just out of curiousity, but why pass on this?
I mean, yeah it's street racing, but at least it's picking up where NFS left off.:)

That's why I'd be in the Veyron, I bet it's the most expensive car in the game and probablyt he hardest to find as well.
 
Err... I'm sure it's a great game and all, but like I posted at the Forza Forum, racing through traffic with supercars is like racing on a track littered with boulders. And I left the Need For Speed series when Gran Turismo appeared.

Maybe if they have a pure racing mode, I'll jump on it, because a true racing game like Forza 2 is the only reason I'd want a 360 so far. I do want some basic civilian cars though, and not just a handful. Where's the Supra, MR2 and Celica, the Saabs and Volvos, the 3000GT VR4, Evo VIII and WRX Sti?

Other than the Ferraris in Forza, I don't like the supercars. I'd just as soon go all the way to GT class.
 
This game has street racing through traffic? I may have to consider getting an X360 earlier than I thought then. And it does have the Veyron and the F1.. :drool:

If this game lives up to it, I'm probably gonna have to get the X360 when it comes out, and now I'm seeing some really nice cars in the PGR3 booster pack as well (S7 Twin Turbo and the new Viper, mmm).

You just had to make me want this game even more didn't you. If this game lives up to it, I'm gonna get an X360 immediately as I read some really good reviews about it, instead of getting it in November when price will drop cause of PS3 like I was planning before.

It won't have a mode in it, but car clubs can pretend to do a Gumball Rally.
 
If the PS3 has no games at launch that I really want I might just get an XB360, this and a couple of other XB360 games I might want by then and get a PS3 at a later date. I'll be getting a few PS3's regardless of if I'll keep one or not, so it depends if I keep one or not, if I do then I'll just wait for the PC version which I might do anyway actually because I can use my DFP then as well.
