does anyone know how to down load the new car pack? cant find it in the marketplace,also if anyones around wanting a cruise,ill be around in ether the pink viper,midnight purple r34 or a blue rs4. found a nice carpark at the bottom right of the island which would be good for a huge car meet :lol:

Yeah, the trade works now. :)

I've noticed a problem though. I usually do this speed event with the Saleen to reach 180mph - 70k winnings each time. The speed meter seems to lag quite a bit now; I'm reaching 210mph before it even registers 180 to finish the race. It was instant before.


Edit: Wow, you can certainly make a lot of money using the trade! Some dude put the Ford Shelby GR-1 concept up for $75,000. I bought it, put it up for sale and sold it within 10 minutes for $1,000,000!

Edit2: It's buggy too. There seems to be mass multiples of a single car on sale after the Maserati section viewing "All".

Edit3: Now it isn't working. At all.
 
Finally nabbed a Shelby Daytona off Trade.

1.2 million.. But a $200,000 markup isn't that bad since I've been waiting for FIVE DAYS for it to show up at the dealer.


James I don't think the speed thing is a "problem" as much as it is a "cheat provention"

I don't think it's possible to slam into stuff and get a rediculously high speed anymore.


Edit: Yes, there's definately a crapload of money to be made on Trade. I just bought a Viper for $50,000 (I knew that was a deal) and then sold it for $75,000.

The best deal I see is a DB4 GT Zagato for $3,000,000.. but it's stage 3 already.


EDIT2: I just had a really weird bug. I went to My Purchases and instead of "Now Loading" all slots said "Dodge Hennessey Viper Venom 100"

I WANT IT.
 
Good, now that the trade is up, I can sell my Saleen to unsuspecting newbs.

Trade is fun, I started today with $4m, I just switched off the Xbox 360 a couple of hours ago with $33m !! Shrewd selling is the key. lol
 
Still loving this game, if you get a good group of people and just drive the island, stopping for photo stops you can have a lot of fun !! The pic below is from a cruise I did last night called Tour de Oahu, it is the 3rd cruise I have done this week and man it's great fun, the banter and chaos along the way is just brilliant.

What's with people putting million dollar cars up for $1,000?

I picked up a Stage 3 Enzo for $1,000 then like 10 minutes later an MC12...

Enzo I sold for $650,000, MC12 is currently on trade for $749,000

Saleen 1000hp TT - 1,000,000 cr. (faster than a Mclaren in top speed (9mph) and 0-60 (2.7 vs. 3.2)

Hehe, that's seriously a good deal. They go for the most amount of money out of all the Concept cars the last time I looked.

I should get back into the game actually. The Trade system is too addictive - and I've got some 500+ miles left to do...
 
Yesterday I bought a Shelby Daytona Coupe for 312,000cr! Fully tuned aswell.

Had to sell my Saleen for 800,000cr.

Today I have sold - Audi 4.2 Quattro 50,000cr.

Shelby GT500 - 350,000cr.

I still have two more Shelbys for sale if anyone wants them. :)
 
Im gonna be playing this game soon. Ive convinced my GF that we dont even like xmas n therefore exchange gifts before hand :D
 
Finally!! The trade is working?? This might get me back into the game for sure. I have been waiting forever to sell some of my cars. :)
