Team GTP BC6 Qualification Race (Results!!)

I'm definitely very late to the party, but Pat(Tuff240) is bugging me about participating in BC6. I know I'm not fast enough to race with GTP, is there somewhere else I can race? Lol. Pat says it'll be a good experience for me. If I do BC6, I won't be doing any WRS or the JGTC series.
 
Im sure BK and GTTimes would welcome you as well 👍

Thanks for the link Fryz. Since I know some people over on GTTimes from the LAN meetings I go to, I might race for them... We'll know for sure after my performance at this coming weekend's LAN meeting.

Having some issues with T1 -> T2 on the GV combo, but will put some more time in over the next few days. So far:

Skyline / GV : 2'05.158
190E / Suzuka : 1'53.666

Total: 3'58.824

No I can't! You guys are waaaaay too fast! I don't have enough time to get under 4'00 for the qualifying races right now. MAYBE if I had seriously considered racing in BC6, but I doubt it still. Thanks though!

I was just testing on my own to see where I stack up and on race 1 with the Skyline in the rules it says :

normal sports tyres (N3)


So are they normal or sports? Normal the stickiest I think are the Road ones (RD) and on the Sports side the Soft ones (SS).

So which ones to use because normal sports don't exist!? Or maybe I'm totally blind also. :lol:

It seems like the guys in the top 12 will be the final team, Unless a few guys are hiding until the last minute :D

Thanks -- as I said earlier, it's good to be back! I had been racing with TOCA 3 online the past few weeks, so not getting shunted off the course is definitely a welcome change. Viva la Time Trial. heh

Sorry to have you so busy, but I got to playing around in the Skyline again. Only shaved a tenth, but it's something.. 2'04.621

Total is now: 3'58.287

Replays attached, but I'm not sure which is which. Forgot about how much of a pain naming replays was.

And yes, you could be considered a young fart, though 'strapping young lad' is probably the better choice of the two.

Who's the silly mug who choose these combo's?

I was on track for a 2'04.5/.6 about 4 times now for the skyline combo, and i stuffed it up in the last sector every time!!!:mad:

At least i can consistently do 1'21.9/22.0/22.1 for T2, Only a matter of time i guess.

Edit 2.

Well only about 5 more laps and finally. I was .750 up on my ghost at T2, but only beat it by .45 or so at the line :indiff:

Skyline: 2'04.698
42.147/1'21.898

That will probably do for me i think. I can see more time, especially now I've figured out how to handle the car. I think i can get more time without too much effort, but I'm fairly certain I've done enough now. Only time will tell.

Did a little run of my own.

49.972 (.45 up on ghost)
1'31.577 (.39 up on ghost)

1'53.570 (.16 up on ghost)

Quite dissapionting really, With that T2 i should of got a 1'53.2/3. However this will do for now, i can come back to it later. If i need to.
 
Really started to enjoy the Skyline combo once I learned how to drive it properly, so shaved some time there: 2'04.126. Re-attached both replays with proper names.

Total: 3'57.792

lol...no apologies necessary buddy, I want to see the best team racing for GTP and if you're faster than me then so be it...I may have another crack on the weekend but it's a busy one for me, regardless, it looks like GTP has a cracking team!!! And still full of Aussies :sly:

wasen´t 12 drivers? 10 + 2 for the rally? just asking...

less than 48 hours to qualify... i think the list won´t change that much before the deadline...
 
Everyone who is in the rally qualifications are in the top 12 for this tarmac race. So the top 12 in this race is what you get so far. Everyone in it, will be in.

And small_fryz, do you mean that the top 12 in the tarmac races can take part in BC or do you mean in the rally qualification?
