lol forreal.... Yesterday was probably the busiest day I've had all year. Work from 9am-2pm, stuck in traffic for 2 hours 2-4PM, Meeting from 4pm-12:30am, get back home 1:45am.... -.-
BUT FORMULA D THIS WEEKENDThanks again E haha
Hey guys, whats up?? It's been a while since I've been around, now that I'm back I thought I'd stop by and see how you guys are doing?![]()
Saito did pretty good in his first outing. It's a shame they kept calling him a "rookie". I was sitting here yelling at my computer screen every time they said it.Plus the one judge even forgot his name... I mean... how do you judge if you don't know who he is????
Anyway, It must have been awesome to be able to see him in person! As you know, he is my idle!
All I will say is that the judging was pretty sketchy... Reminded me of a few GTP comps (no names)...
If cant keep up the way he wants cause being a rookie, he's restricted to 275 tires when pros are using 295 and above.
I don't know about you guys, but he did kinda seem out of place. I mean, you know him in the D1GP. His lines are near perfect all the time, and in FD he was going shallow a lot. I don't know if it was the car, or the track?? whats your thoughts on it?? IMO, I wish he had brought the JZX100's.![]()
It was probably a combination of both unfamiliarity of the track and lack of tuning for his Soarer. I remembered them saying that his crew had to fix and change ALOT of things on the car to conform with the Formula D rules, so he probably did not have enough seat time. The car may have been setup in Japan but with the changes, it probably felt way different. Even though the Soarer is badass, it woud be more awesome if he brought a JXZ100 forsure haha
