If you guys wanted to know what BOATHoUSE is here you go. Its just a local group of wacky friends around here that get together to talk cars and slide around as much as we can. i haven't got my own fr yet but soon i will have a nice drift missile to take part in the action. The group started about 2 months ago so its fairly new but the friends have been around forever. We just started a new YouTube channel called BOATHoUSESUPERSTARS so far there is no drifting footage on it yet but there are a bunch of funny clips to check out.

edit: Just to clarify again this is NOT a gt5 team its what i do with my freinds.

Random question for you guys...

If I "share" one of my cars online, that means anyone on my friend list can use it, right? And if so, can they use it in an online lobby/lounge?

The reason I ask is I have 3 cars that I would really like to take some photos of...a couple of action shots, and a couple parked shots. The three cars are my G35, Skyline Coupe, and Skyline Sedan. I wouldn't share the sedan at all, as it has Marc's tune on it...but I'm hesitant to share either of the other two cars with non team members, as the tunes on those two cars are very very similar to Marc's Sedan tune.

If anyone is interested in helping me out with this, let me know. If the whole "sharingl route is not the best way to do this, I can always dupe the cars to whomever...just need a heads up.

Ummm I'm pretty sure car sharing doesn't actually work. You can set the cars to online/share, but I think its just to "show off" the cars and not to actually use them. If anything you can, as you said, just dupe the car or tell us the color wheel combos you used lol. But I'm down to help you out :dopey:

you click the big borrow icon and you can drive it, but offline only
 
Awesome Marc thanks bro. I have a few changes to make and things to sort out with the cars, but I will send you one tonight.

One more volunteer would be sweet :) the actual photo shoot won't really take long, as I have all the spots picked out already
 
Good session this morning E! Not sure if it's because I was still half asleep or what, but that Camaro kept kicking my 🤬 That was fun drifting nearly identical cars though.

We can do the photo shoot whenever the three of us are on...shouldn't take long, hopefully only a half hour or so.

LOL!!! My M3 and I are attached at the hip - this is true. BUT I do love my S15 too... :sly:

OK.. I'll keep an eye out for it... I could just buy one too ya know... I have over $19 mill... LOL!!
 
Meh, it'll be just as easy for me to file the car to you. I don't know where the paint chip I used on it comes from, so that would throw a wrench in the gears. I'll send it today/tonight when I get home from work

Edit: Forgot to mention...GOOD LUCK IN QUALIFYING MARC!!!!!

I'm down for a mini comp! Got my first real taste of one last night (finished 2nd :D) and I'm hooked lol. What time are you thinking of...start at 10ish, or sooner? I probably won't make it on till around 10, so...save me a spot if you start earlier :)

@Gam and Marc, thanks so much for helping me out with those photo runs. Still going to take a while to finish taking all the shots and edit them, but I think they're going to turn out well.

Yes it was! We should definitely do more, maybe once or a couple times a month? It'll definitely be good practice.
 
that WAS a fun mini comp last night. i wanted us to do that particular track because it was something new that we dont slide on usually (if at all.. i think it was some peoples' first time on the track) and wanted to see how well we adapt to new terrain. it was a competitive ( but FUN ) comp between 8 of us and looks like everyone got adjusted quickly. there were some quality runs being put down in GT5 Long Beach! I could almost see santa's beard blowing as we hit the clipping point.

i was really happy to see how we acclimated to a new platform so quick.

good times guys.

LOL I tried to scrape my bumper at that CP every run! We needa try and finally get to lvl 40 so bumpers can actually scrape off hahah
