Congrats CJ! I heard you did really good. I think the more comps you enter the less you will feel nervous, then you will find yourself able to relax and focus more. Keep up the good work !

Thanks JustDrift it was a great learning experience for me last night and a lot of fun. I am still learning new things every time i get on the track i am no pro although some people think i am. :indiff: I really do need to start doing more comps and push myself further than i have, i got a long way to go. 👍
 
Congrats CJ! I know how that nervous feeling is from bike races lol. Once you leave the line you tend to zone everything out though.
 
Thanks pac if only it was like that for me :lol: i had jitters going through the entirety of each run. We were doing a whole lap of motegi east for the comp, basically 4 sectors it was really demanding but a lot of fun. Its just a little personal issue of mine i have always had bad anxiety but i had no idea it could effect me like that in a game.

My drifting was fine i just couldn't keep it as consistent as i usually do. Like there were a couple of times where i should have stayed back farther from the lead car at the initiation, taking the outside line so i wouldn't catch up. I really couldn't stay on the line i wanted to. It would stray back to the inside because i couldn't feed the wheel back in after counter steer fast enough for more angle.

Basically my hand movements were a bit slow at some key points on the track like i said before it was a great learning experience, and thanks marc and twitch i know what i could have done now to slow down i just need to practice it. 👍 I may not be getting on tonight although it may say i am am online. I am letting my dad use the wheel to practice his drifting, hes getting there and almost able to link 2 corners together. :D

edit: Oh yeah he is going to order a g27 this week so we get to make a rig again i think this one will be smaller though.

Damn sounds like I missed another good session. Sorry I haven't been around much the last little while. Had a ton of friends come through town for the long weekend, so it's been pure chaos for the last couple of days. My liver is crying uncle today. Things should be back to normal tomorrow, I should be on tomorrow night at the regular time.

@dan: Like I said last night, you were looking great out there. You were getting super aggressive with your entries and looking really comfortable. Keep up the good work!

We should definitely do king of the hill more! I'd be down to do it at least once a day hahaha. It's really fun and definitely good practice :dopey:
 
good little session last night fam.

glad you guys liked the King of the Hill platform suggested last night. i just thought it would be good to implement something like this when there are enough of us online so we can get used to competition style formats. this should help us keep our game sharp and ready at all times. on another note, its just something fun to do within the team.

yeup last night was definitely fun... I gotta say my heart was pounding on every run I did even though it was all for fun haha and yea cody that aston is sick! marc you should get that car too I think you will like it since you're the master of tuning LOL
 
Good times tonight boys. There was some epic runs being thrown down for sure. Not sure what happened at the end there, I just got disconnected from the PSN. Gonna call it a night anyways. Peace guys

Do any of you guys have XJR-9 Purple from Jaguar? I'm not sure if it is send-able, but if it is I can trade you something for it.
 
It's not trade-able :( it counts as a DLC paint. I'm not even 100% sure how to go about getting one again. I can dupe paint chips now, but I wasted that chip before I knew how. I've even tried buying the XJR-9 DLC again, but I didn't get another chip. If you can figure out a way to get it, and it doesn't cost too much, I may get it again, as I really liked that colour. If I do that, I'll paint any car under 1000000cr for you.
 
Yo guy's sorry i could not be on today, i gotta pick up the slack but as you know real life comes before gt5 and i cant get on everyday unfortunately. If you guys could let me know when we might be having team meetings that would be awesome, i could try to clear time for them 👍

edit: I just switched my car for D1SL i am a dumb***. :lol:

Good times CJ and Cody! I was obsessed with that section yesterday lol. Glad to hear you liked it :). I want to show the rest of the guys too, cause I think we could get some ballin trains going through there. Drifting through the cones is a different feeling as well...less video-gamey for me.
