How come no one's mentioned Paul Van Dyk, Chicane, Fluke, Orbital, Groove Armada, Junkie XL, Daiki Kasho, Juno Reactor, Romolo Di Prisco, Dj Keoki, Overseer, Timo Maas, Squarepusher, Aphex Twin (best dude ever Mr. Norman I salute you), Propellerheads, Massive Attack, Underworld, or Sasha/John Digweed. I could go on and on btw... keke..

And you guys think Paul Oakenfold is good. He's the most overrated Dj ever. Althought his older stuff is good and I did like some of his songs from the Swordfish ST.

EDIT: Oops forgot to put in Dj Mark Farina, David Holmes, and Dj Shadow and Venom. Ah also Sigue Sigue Sputnik is cool old school stuff too hehe..

Wow...I forgot to mention Chicane or Paul Van Dyk?
Well, I meant to :p

DJ Isaac and Lady Dana are also awesome if you like hardcore techno.

LTJ Bukem is incredible for Drum'n'Bass

Prefuse 73 - Vocal Studies + Uprock Narratives
Prefuse 73 - One Word Extinguisher
Pluxus - European Onion
Peaches - The Teaches of Peaches
Dntel - Life Is Full of Possibilities
Various Meat Beat Manifesto albums

Not your average cookie-cutter electronica.

I like the vocal mixes from DJ Doboy. A lot of his 70+ minutes mixes can be found fairly easily on the 'net.

Just got The Essential Trance box set. 6 CD's of nothing, but pure techno/trance heaven. It kicks a lot of butt. I'm on the second CD, and haven't been unpleased yet. I'll keep you posted.

I have the set too. I didn't like the first CD, but discs 2-5 are great. The 6th was just ok. It's a good set to just play in the background during the day.

Green Court is also a good DJ from Germany. Silent Heart (Flutlicht Remix) is excellent.

Now you know. :) I saw it at Sam Goody and I had to buy it. $20 for six discs? That's a steal since most single discs are $20.

I also saw a chill out and 'Ibiza' set from the same company. It might be worth checking out.

Time to go visit some music stores now! :D

So far, I only have ATB - Addicted to Music and PvD - Global.

Now it's time to expand my horizon :D:D

Yeah, too bad Dgitally Imported doesn't stream that well on 56k, or else I would be listening to it right now

I've heard of a couple of good places where they have those CDs. When this weekend comes, I'll probably go stop by and take a look :D

So far I have yet to be dissapointed with a DJ Tiesto cd. He has some serious skills with the techno shizzy.

WOW...i never thought I'd hear that... The only one of his I liked was In Search of Sunrise. The rest of his music follows styles that have been done before and he just copies the styles of other lesser known musicians and takes the credit for it. I hate him for that.

No, noone listens to good electronica like you posted.

We listen to **** like DJ Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, Paul Oakenfold, DJ Sammy, DJ Quicksilver, Ferry Corsten, ATB and a whole lot of others.
