To tell the truth the graphics don't seem that bad really and it definately grows on you. I was havibg great fun with a bloke called SUICIDE who was in his Mclaren F1 while I was in my Saleen S7 drag racing between the lights. Have to agree that driving through the mountains is great fun especially if you are in a Spyker C8 Laviotte.

Just another update for those that are intrested:
Bought my third house today!
Recent additions to my ever growing family are:

Murcielago Roadster
Spyker C8 Laviotte
Aston Martin V8 Vantage
Sold my Shelby Daytona Coupe now it was worth 500,000 so was a good throw away! Right then back on TDU I must go, he he he ho ho ho!

EDIT= Yes I have tried it out was fun but had to sell it as it couldn't keep up with the Nobles and Lotus's it had to race to stay in my garage. Also my recomendation is to try the King Of The Hill races they are mostly down hill/ up hill and through the mountains on the north side of the island brillaint roads there!

Hopefully aslong as player's are on a good connection there won't be much lag. Lucky for me I'm using the fastest available internet service for my area.;) Gah, I can't believe I have to wait till tuesday.....Is there a reason why Europe got the game earlier than North America?

Yes it is very smooth but if someone in the area is having lag then their username changes colour depending on how serious it is.
Green Username: Running as smooth as possible
Yellow: Some lag but not serious
Red: Serious lag I advise not to go any where near them.

Yesterday's max was around 93 people. But unlike the 360 when you are online you can cruise with more than 8 people at a time. I mean yesterday I was cruising with 12 people, they all had rubbish cars compared to mine though so it was hard not to over take them all....I couldn't surive and just throttled it straight past all of them. I then had a instant challenge against the cruise leader (In a Noble M400) while I was in my Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster. I won then I got to take the cruise wherever I wanted. Great fun online.

OK, i dont play that much but still...jesus, you guys are quick with that game.

how many % did u finish yet? i'm just at 5:S
 
how do you communicate with other users online?

Actually I am only 50,000 off being a Master........Well I suppose you need to drive and drive and drive find events that get you money then do them.

Um I think I am about 12% in or soething like that. About to go on and burn more rubber keep your eyes out for the rear end of my car cause thats all you will see!

[EDIT] Just became a Master of the game! Got a Countach as a prize car and won a ME412 for winning the Supercar series just before the marvelous event!
 
hmmm i see, well i'm now at 7% and the game is doing its job...FUN :D

i wish i'd had the ability to go online, so we could all organize somehting like a GUMBALL rally...around and through the island!! that would be so much kick ass fun :D

My online is fine at the moment 76 players online it says so can't help you there. Any how when/ if you get online look out for me I am SPEEDSTER502 :)

Im sure i have visited all the dealerships, but i havent seen the Murchialagos yet? I no they in a different Lambo dealership to the Gallardos, but where is it?

I'm afraid that if I rent it, I won't ever give it back. Oh well, till I get my own copy, I'll just play the X360 version at my friends house. :)

I complete my game all online as if you are offline you get those pesky cops! Good Luck mate!
 
Nooooo! Don't play the XBOX360 version!

If you do, the flaws in the PS2 version will be more noticable.

you have the choice of a viper, ford GT, Mercedes slk 55 amg and another one to rent. and then u can buy a car once u raced.
My first car was a blue Ford Mustang GT :)

i just got my self a second house with a car storage for 6 cars. currently driving with a spyker c8 which i've won.

I got one question. Like in the hawaiin auto club, i won the races and became president, but just right now, i had to start again from 5th rank.
Is it like that the people will race each other??
