DDMv2, I see you on the map (And I was next to you for quite some time), but your car just isn't appearing next to me :( .

I'll still be hanging around though, incase the connection does work.

I'm at the track. I can see you on the MAP when I press select but I cannot see you in REAL time. It shows a line through both your name and ND4SPD:nervous:

I'm going to restart my PS2 and head back down to the track. Maybe something is wrong with the network...
 
ND4SPD and I can see each other, but you just arn't appearing. I'll create a new race under the race icon on the track. Just click on 'find perfect game' and It'll be under there. It's possible to see eachother during a race 👍
 
Got the game today, and I played for almost 5 hours!!! This game is really good. Here is my mini pro con list.

Pros:
Cockpit view, graphics, physics, races, cars

Cons:
not G25 compatable, no manual, some cars rear-ends look flat, not really any tuner cars.

Also, I have a question, is there any way to modify the cars like change rims, spoilers or something? Because I've seen some videos with cars with bodykits and stuff. (I want to change hood on the GTO to ls2 style...)
 
I also got this game today. Weird but cool looking graphics and great sence of realism. Not physics but you can buy houses, cops, great looking buildings, interacive places. etc

Only a Master rank would know this.......oh wait I am a master rank. For Expert it is a......umm....can't remember, but for Master it is the Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary

Yeah nice meeting up with you speedster 👍 . After the second race we had, I quit back to Free roam mode so we could cruize together... but like many other times, I didn't see your car there. :scared: You do have a red cross through your name when I press select (on the map), but the game manual doesn't say anything about what it actually means.

We smashed into eachother a few times during the races... damn lag, but good fun :lol:

Simple answer unlike the XBOX360 one..........no. But on some cars I have noticed that when modifying a Mercedes (Any apart form the SLR) if they aren't a AMG you can upgrade them to be an AMG which gives them AMG rims.

What is the meaning of the line through our names when we look for other players? I know we can't see each other, but does it have a reason why?

That was a fun highway race we had between the Murcielago and McLaren F1, was a shame the Murcielago couldn't keep up though. Your CCX was damn fast by the way. We were about even till we hit about 180mph then you started to walk me! Was it tuned or stock? I think I'll buy the CCX sometime tomorrow!

O and about the line through the names. I was reading the manual and it said something about different "sessions" I don't know how that works but It said if your not in the same session as the other player you wont be able to see them:S

Haha, thanks! If you think my car is fast than you should have seen jacoja07's CCR, him and I were even up to 180mph and then he starts to own me pretty good. On your stats,what is your fastest speed? I just found out that I somehow went 262mph today in the Saleen!
 
umm last I checked I hit about 249mph in my CCR completely stock. Its not to bad:)

Well if you find jacoja07's CCR fast then yoiu obviously haven't raced me then......... I have took mine up to 290mph in a online race before although it didn't count as the silly bloke had turned the traffic into "no collisons" which meant we could drive straight through them apart from I didn't know that until I noticed near the end of the race some bloke driving straight through a piece of traffic......

Haha, That was an awesome run we had... and it was funny how I run into you guys as soon as I left my garage (The $400,000 8-car house along the west coast :sly: ). Yeah, the CCR is a pretty quick car. I bought it purely for those sorts of runs so I can keep up with other people (it does its job well 👍). It is fitted with a stage 3 package :) .
I must say you were pretty quick in your Saleen... and a damn fine driver as well. It's good to be able to drive flat-out down a highway, without having to stop every 3 seconds because your mate behind you has had another crash. Looking forward to another meet sometime 👍

btw, I saw you and DDMv2 cruizing on the map this morning, but did you see both DDMv2 and I when we were at the race track before?

Edit: Ooh, thanks for the updated first post Speedster. Maybe each of us could highlight where on the map our main garage/house is? :P

That is a nice idea.....but it would be difficult for me as I sort of have 6 houses...... you see I sort of get too many cars some times and then need new houses. The house you have on the West Coast I have as well.
 
Crickey. You don't stuff all your favourite/most used cars in one house, and keep the others as backups?

Well I can do it tonight if it's possible (In the next few hours). Lets hope we will see eachother in free roam mode this time :)

Gosh, me and jacoja07 had the best cruise/race/off roading cruise ever!

Firstly, we met up outside his house he was in his Koenigsegg CCR and I was in my little Caterham which seemed to be able to keep up with the Koenigsegg for about 0.111 of a second. After awhile I got bored of driving the Caterham so popped to my house to change car ----- Meanwhile jacoja07 was changing his car. I then turned up back at his house in my Aston Martin Vanquish V12 S and then I see Mr_Mayhem in his Aston Martin V12 Vanquish S.....in the same colour with the same upgrades! There was another annoying person tagging along with us in a VW Nardo kept ramming us. We eventually lost him by going up my favourite twisty road.

Then we started racing.........it was awesome and I think jacoja07 will agree here. One of the races we were going flat out down a very, very, very straight straight, we where around 233mph then all of a sudden he dissappears I look in my rear view mirror and see this cloud of smoke and a Vanquish flying backwards into trees...... he crashed. We had some more fun in V12's then I popped home to get the Koenigsegg out meanwhile he did the same.

Then we started cruising/racing again until he took us off the edge of a hudge cliff face into a deep valley which took us around 1 hour to get back out off again! Never knew a Koenigsegg could be such a good off roader. We eventually reached civilisation only for me to accidently slide off the edge of another cliff face into another valley.... we both got back out again he pulled over and I decided I needed to something else so that was the end to our massive cruise covering over 100 miles (most being off road) can't wait for next time......... (The lag wasn't that bad....was it?)
 
Does anyone know when Downloadable content on PC will be availablE?

Thank you! Have you driven the Saleen yet? It's quick but not as quick as the CCR but I believe it handles a bit better.I think I'll hop online in about 10 minutes to gain more money, buy a house and buy a CCR then modify it.:)

Hey speedster502, would lyou like to show me on the map the race that gets you 75 grand each time? That would be great!
 
sounds like you guys had a good time, Meanwhile on my PC version I just made a $940,000 profit on an alfa 8C I bought it for $50,000

Is there a way to change the colour of the interior? I accidently got the ugly bright orange interior in my CCX and it's quite the eyesore.

aarrgghh, u people make me so jealous not having an internet adapter for my fat ps2 :( :D.

to who ever own the pc version, can u record a movie, i wanna see how different it is from the ps2 version...

I'm actually thinking getting it for pc aswell
