well what im doing is when im in the GPS. I go to where it shows the CHALLENGES and I go to filters and put it so that its the races for my CCR only. And not b,c,d or e class. Since its A class it highlights only the SUPER CAR races.

Theres one race called KING OF THE HILL. If you do it on hard you get 192,000 credits. The bad thing about it is that it takes about 15mins to complete:grumpy:

Heh, I did a 45 mile race last night that won me $200 000 on normal...Took about 15 minutes, if you think that's bad I found a race near the airport that is over 100miles long and gives you $500 000.
 
Damn, these things that you're saying about your progress and drive make me want to buy TDU even more. I just need to get another $15 and I'll march to my gamestop and pick up a copy.

:boggled: I thought those 7-10 mile races were long...
 
When I first got the game, I wanted to see the GTO, and I didnt see the dealer by where you start, so I went to the one farthest north on the island. It was 33 miles way, and it took 12-15 mins in a stock Saturn Sky...
 
ehhh wts up, im new to the forum and was looking for a TDU forum, anyways im still a AMATEUR lol, i would like to go online and race or just chill but i had a question about getting this thing to work, i just havent had time to play games or anything for a while but does it lag on DSL? if not i'll just go buy the modem for my ps2 lol, and nice videos, i guess im only 3% done.. sighs, i want lambos to drive...

i also read about a race that is 170mph stretch and its a 40 sec race for fast money, i cant seem to find that anywhere.. anyone know?

i just got the game a few days ago and like is there anyway to get money when im driving my nissan 350 r-tune? man it seems as even if i make money i spend it so easily, i want some lambos to drive on and also i wanna go online, does any of u have DSL to play online on? does it lag? if not then imma just go buy myself a modem and etc. hopefully see u guys online and race. peace.
 
Please answer ASAP! How do you sell a car?!?!?! I need more space for like 10 more cars becuase i won like 10 and also what is the cheapest house except for the first one?

read a couple of pages back and u'll see that i asked the complete same question as u just did :)
you can't sell a car unless ure buying something else annd dont have enough money for it. (ie: you account says 375.000 credits, but the car costs 400.000, so u can sell a car to reach 400.000.) thats the only way of selling them:indiff: which i personally really dont like

another question about the mileage in the game. how does it work?? it doesnt seem to me that it goes by KM or Miles...??:)

GUYS!!!! something shocking just happened. I started my ps2, wanted to load my game as usuall, and then it said that my save it corrupted!!! i finished like 20% and now i gotta start all over again GGRRR

get online! it enhances the game experience 10 fold, and you can sell!

2nd of all, BUY it for ps2 or PC!

If your garage is full, try to buy a car, it will say your garage is full, and you need to sell cars. Click okay, and sell what you want.

I play online on PS2, you cant sell online on PS2, only PC and 360.

lol, you cant just say that... what about the pc version. graphics are amazing on pc aswell (depending on your system of course).

graphics are one thing ;) (i still say the 360 just beats the pc on that too) i feel the 360 version is better set out and better gameplay and just generally "feels" better (car handling,sounds) plus theres more features on the 360.

what are the other feature that the pc version doesnt have?:)

but there one thing which the 360/ps2 doesnt have but PC has. G25 Wheel is compatible and in my opinion, that adds credit to the pc version:dopey: :D

:scared: No!!! I gotta get it for PC now, the main reason I bought this game is to use my G25 with it...
 
omg I tried the 100mile race... that race is so frustrating!:nervous:

I always screw up when i'm near the middle right side of the island:crazy:

And then the ME 412s just leave me in the dust.... I've tried the race 3 times now and its ticking me off:grumpy:

If you do this race I suggest to have ALOT of time to do it. I hate that they put traffic in this race...makes it so much harder:indiff:
 
Those were some great runs DDMv2. I always take you off the line (tc off), but you slipstream me and then you pull me.

On that last run when you timed out, I was waiting at the Benz dealer for like 4:30 mins, then you timed out.

Thanks anway, because now I found a really nice straight to do some top speed runs. 👍
 
yeah good runs. Those ones when you took off on me from the launch I did that on purpose so that I can slip stream and try to hit 280...

I only hit 272 tho lol.

Why you drive so rough? Everytime i'd try to run you on that straight and catch up with slipstream you'd hit me off the road:scared:

I rough you up sometimes on purpose, because I hate when you pass me. :sly:

The other times, its laggy, so I try to slipstream you, but your lag makes me ram you...

Just wanted to ask, what do you need to run PS2's online? I have the slimline one with the inbuilt adapter, so I was wondering if you just plug your modem in and go or do you need something else?
