My favorites so far are the Lotus Elise 112R (C Class) and the Ford Shelby Cobra Concept (B Class). I also have the Mustang GT (E Class), the Shelby GT500 (E Class), the AC 427 (C Class), an old Corvette I can't remember the name exactly... I guess that's it.

I want to buy an A class car now, I'm just not sure which to pick.

I bought the GT500 and man that thing gets sideways just looking at it:)
Its the only one that i spin out with from time to time, i dont use TCS.
 
Hmm you have to buy the Viper Coupe. It helped me heaps. The MP's got me the SHelby Cobra Concept, but you guys dont get that glitch. The CCR is basiclly the easiest car to win races with. Win a few car clubs and become president and get the free car upgrades or car. Then buy the CCR and upgrade it for free. The Skyline helped me a bit; all i did with it was criuse around, going to car shops etc. But only because it was my second car. :)

Yeah, I don't use TCS either. I don't even notice any difference with it on and off...

And the Lotus correct name is Lotus Sport Exige 240R, not 112. :dunce: I'm not very good with cars' names that have number on them. :dopey:
 
I really like the Noble M400 (B-Class). The lotus exige 240R is probably the best C-Class car - I dont think I've ever lost with it, but it sure does like to drift.

Im the president of 2 of the car clubs right now, can't recall the names because i haven't had allot of time to get really familiar with the game yet. Did that with my GT, had to rub the AI a bit to do it on a few races cause they were a good bit faster than me. But, they aren't when they are hitting a pole!
 
I think im President of every car club :) Heres the easy way; ram the AI. See a light pole coming? Slow down to the AI and ram it into a pole. It goes nutz and takes along time to recover. :)
 
I'm almost up to 100%! Last night I made a little checklist in excel w/ all the cars in the game, and checked off the ones I own. Right now I am 90% through the game, all challenges complete, all houses owned, and own 43 cars. All I need to do is buy the rest of the cars I dont own, and complete all the car clubs. (I have around 8-10 left)
 
Quick question: I've won a racing Corvette last night. I can't remember the exact name but it's and older model, it's blue with white stripes.

Anyway, I was scared for a bit because after I won it I went into my garage to have a look at it and drive out with it, but it wasn't there! I didn't understand at first, because I had a free spot left on the garage. Then I checked my cars by the list and it was there. I click on it and the car is in a different garage from a house I don't own. Can anyone explain this to me?

That's strange. But you can take out the car right? If you can, drive it out of the house you don't own, and drive it to the house you own with the free garage space. I am saying this just incase something happens, like the car dissappearing, or a glitch that can ruin your save or something.

Racing corvette with stripes? Are you sure it isn't a Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupé?

Also, I won the 57 Corvette last night, red with the red interior. Such an awesome car to just cruise in, same goes for the Aston Martin DB4 Zagato.

Still, can anyone explain me what's the deal with the car appearing in a house I don't own?

djblackmon, yes I was able to drive it outside the house. But soon after it I had to help a friend, so I just asked my girlfriend to drive it (without being arrested by the cops, again!:ouch:) to the aftermarket shop and tune it to level 3. After that the game autosaved and she turned the console off. I'll see if it appears in my garage tonight.

The TDU servers suck!! Everytime I meet up with _The_STIG_, he dissappears. This happens almost everytime I meet up with somebody. Also, lots of other people dissappear with him, leaving 1 or 2 people around me...

About the houses thing, apparently I really own two houses. That's so weird because I always use the exchange option instead of buying another house. I bought only the first house in the game, with space for four cars in the garage. After that I exchanged it for another with 6 spaces, and then I exchanged it again for a house with 8 spaces.

But it seems I actually bought the last one instead of exchanging my old one for it. :ouch: :ouch:

Oh well, at least I have 7 more free spaces in the garages to fill. No need for a new house for now. :)
 
I found a glitch. Go to your garage, then press inspect car. View the interior and keep messing around with the windows, pressing the up and down button really fast. Eventually your windows will stay half way down instead. If anyone needs pic's; just ask :)
 
Um, that's not a glitch. At least, not in the U.S. version. You can always open your window halfway or however you chose. Just open the windows, then hold up until the window reaches where you want it to be.
 
Can anyone confirm if the online part of the game will work on a US PS3? I want to buy the game but it wouldn't be as fun without the online features.

yo i can confirm that too. While inspecting the cars interior you can lower/raise the window the hight you want. Unlike in the game where the window just goes fully down or fully up...:) 👍
 
What the hell. How do you control the windows coz i cant seem to control them. I gotta keep mashing the buttons to make it work. :confused:
