Finishing the car clubs is a good way to get free cars, I've only bought the Mustang GT and the Lotus Elise 240R, all the others I won. But right now I'm focusing more on races because they're giving me good money on the hard difficulty.

What the hell. How do you control the windows coz i cant seem to control them. I gotta keep mashing the buttons to make it work.

well while ure in the car (cockpit view) u press UP and then LEFT and then the windows are supposed to go down. you do same thing again and then they should go up.
try that and let us know if it worked...:)

Holy crap. Where did you get the money to buy the 10 million dollar mansions?

There is a series of races (Kind of like King of The Hill) where after you complete them all, you unlock all the houses. Its called II Viggario Grande or something close to that. Also, when you complete all of the King of The Hill races, you can teleport anywhere on the map.

I know! Happens all the time with me and Burntclutch. Anyways, how did you know I was going to the Pagani dealership?! It was like you read my mind.

I went to the Pagani dealership because it was the only one I never visited on the map. :sly:

Whoa, I didn't know that! I need to go those sometime. Also, there is a way to get into the airport, I did it a few days ago with the help of other people.

That's crazy, that was the same reason for me too!

MUST...DO....THOSE...RACES

me
Can anyone confirm if the online part of the game will work on a US PS3? I want to buy the game but it wouldn't be as fun without the online features.

sorry to bump it but I didn't want to get buried, they have a good used copy at my local store and I wanted to get it cheap while I had a chance but I will only get it if the online mode works.

Ah crap, aren't those like 30 miles long each?

Guess I won't be finishing those any time soon...

Try asking in the TDU forums, maybe someone there could help you with the question. If not, how about renting the game and trying it out for yourself?

Also, getting into the airport is useless. It was a big disappointment for me. It's all dirt road so you can only do 90mph tops and it isn't fun at all. I was hoping for it to have paved runways but it did not....

You think 30miles is long? There's one near the airport that is a little over 100 miles long....

my blockbuster doesn't carry it yet, I'll have to check Hollywood again but they haven't had it either yet.

EDIT: looks like half the site is locked down and it won't let me join so I can't register in order to post my question

I too was disappointed on the runway, pit-area, and super market parking lots were dirt, not paved. :yuck:

Okay, here's a good question. I have a little over $1mill and need to buy an A-Class car. Now basically all the cars are in my price range, since I only need 1 or 2 more races to afford even the most expensive one.

Which do you guys reccomend the most? And have you tried more than one that is tuned...

CCR all the way. It's the 2nd fastest car in the game, and the fastest car you can buy from the start. It's also a bit quicker in acceleration to about 180mph than the Chrysler ME412.

Ya, but it was fun to see two 57 vettes throw up some dirt in the parking lots.

So, whats the fastest car in the game? The ME412??? Or is it the McLaren F1 LM? I also want a car that handles well, not just one that goes really fast (I like driving the curvy roads in the mountains).

I use my CCX Quite a lot, and IMO it's a fantastic car. And although the ME412 may be a tiny bit faster, I can't stand looking at those rear LED tailights. They're not the prettiest things ever designed.

But I do recommend the CCX... as long as it's not dark blue (because that's the colour of mine  )

I was gathering money to buy a CCR also, it's 750k Cr. if I'm not mistaken? I have over a million already so I should buy it the next time I play.

I'd say the McLaren F1 LM is the best car. It has the acceleration of a ME 412, which is faster than the CCR, and it handles a lot better (A lot less drift). The only bad thing about the F1 LM is it's top speed is 10-20 MPH lower than the CCR.

DAMN!!! there are some crazy drivers out there especially DRUNKDRVR who must really be so...anyways if anyone is lookin for a race or a place to meet i am always at Lisa's Diner in the south eastern part of the map or at the oahu raceway which is soooo cool!! i kicked a CCR's butt there in my murc...lol

After doing some math, I need $7,906,934 to buy the last 7 cars I need. I have all clubs complete, all challenges complete, all houses bought, and all but those 7 cars bought. I am now at 96% through the game.

After some more math, I found out that the challenge called "The Snake" gives the most money in the least amount of time.

Even more math later, I figured out I have to do "The Snake" 155 times to get enough money. And that will take around 230 minutes.

Wheres the Snake race? :dopey:
There are alot of people viewing this thread now :dunce:

To find "The Snake", go the Challenges in the map. Then press Square, and under the filters, choose Single Player, Time only, Class A. It is one of those races, almost in the middle of the map.

Oh, found it. BUT try 'The Tunnel'. In Filter, Single Player, Time only, Group A. It pays around $71,500 And can be done in 1:22 mins :) Thats the race ive been repeating for ages :) It near the right of the map.

Oh yeah CCR ftw in this event
