Good Day Everyone!
You have made your way to the Tet Group Rally Racing Rally League. Turn on your dipolar computers, fire up DiRT Rally and join in on the dirt tossing fun, before the world moves on.

Setup:
Each Season will contain as many events as required to have 1 event a week. Each event will contain 2 stages and last one week. Seasons will end at 15:00 EST on Sunday and the new season begun at 18:00 that same Sunday. Standings will be updated Monday morning and will be posted shortly there after. As mentioned, vehicles will be restricted to class. Rally will be the utilized game mode. Except the last event will be a hillclimb. Stage restarts will be disabled, however, event restarts will be allowed. Track conditions will always be clear, time will cycle from midday to night during an event. The second stage will contain service areas.

Rules:
Do not try to cheat the game in any fashion, no mods, trainers, glitches, bugs or otherwise should be used during a Tet Group rally event. Doing so will disqualify you for the event, and probably have you kicked from the group. This, by nature will be ran on an honor system, please don't take it for granted. Stay within the bounds of the game and have fun.

How it all works:
Monday a new season will begin. Tracks will be picked randomly as will the cars. Race anytime you want through the week. Think you can put in a better time? Give it another go! Monday events will go live between 11:00 and 19:00 EST. Sorry for the gap, but work loads fluctuate, I may have the time to get it done around 11, but at the latest it will be 19:00. The event will stay open until Sunday 15:00 EST. Once an event is closed, all data will be gathered and posted in the standings post found below.
Things for the future:
A monthly or so Rallycross event.
A prize system to award winners track/event/car choices.
A points system. (probably mirror what DiRT does)
If you have and ideas, suggestions, comments, concerns or complaints feel free to discuss them all here. This is a new league, on a new game, and while I am planning on keeping it all fairly informal, all and any constructive input is gladly welcome.

Joining:
Post your intent to join here. Additionally, you will need an account with Racenet. My game never kicked open a browser to create one, if you have that issue as well, follow this link. Once there and setup with an account, expand the tool bar on the left and click on Leagues at the bottom. The third tab top center is Find A League. Search for "Tet Group Rally" and join.
Thanks for taking the time to check this out. I hope to see you on the stages!

Good to see ya Mike. The league is up and the current season has started. Up first are the the 60 era cars on the three selected tracks. I set it up so that the rally span a day. First race is morning, second midday, third at night. Feel free to find it in game or through the race net website. I'll get that link now.

Edit: @Mike Lobban ok man, I got the link to dirtgame.com added to the join section. Should be able to join from there if you cant get the in game stuff to actually open a browser.

Right on Connor! Sorry that code didn't work. Maybe if you buy an AMD keychain or something. Seems they give a key out for anything.

Haha its fine, I was meaning to buy it eventually and I had a little savings left from my GTA trip I didn't use. :)

Ahhh, just got a new phone! It is so nice to finally be able to actually open an app and it not take five minutes to register the fact that I touched the screen, let alone actually get YouTube and Pandora to work.
That said, seems I can access all of the dirt league dashboard tabs and options, so I shouldn't have any issues managing the league stuff from the phone. Google has done a job integrating Drive on the phone too, so it shoulndt be a hassle keeping spreadsheets up to date.

Seems like I have to turn on my gaming PC at some point this week! By the way, thanks for using the 60s cars - I should play Dirt Rally more often, I guess.

Ok, rally seasons. What do you guys think, should I perhaps set up more events? maybe 5? one for each day of the week? Or should I set up maybe 2 seasons with 2, 3 stage events? I am going to set up a test season and mess with the event and stage restart stuff. I don't like the fact that you can only run the event once. I am hoping that an event can be reset, but not a stage, that way people will need to play through. It has got to be said though, that one, 3 stage rally that went fast and couldn't be done wasn't satisfying enough. I am hoping to add just enough to make it so it can either be all done in a shot or people can kinda drag it out by doing an event in a season one day, and an event the next. then perhaps break for a day and do another season.
Got a busy week ahead but now that there are a few of us turning laps, I have some data to work with to build up a scoring/timing system and setup a table.
Got some comments or suggestions?

Have they changed the regulation settings at all or is it still the car/hp limit only? As for the seasons I can only really get on once a week so having one event per week with any amount of stages is good, gives people a chance to have a go. Also the no-restart rule is really fun I find, it rewards consistency and listening to the pace notes instead of practicing over and over to get the best time. Knowing one mistake will ruin your rally time makes it really intense and immersive :)

No, you can do car, HP, class, drivetrain, manufacturer or country. However, you can only pick one. You coming to join the party Tizzla?

If it's open for a week do seven stages. But structure it like this
Day 1
2 sprints and one long
Day 2
2 springs and one long stage
Then a have a final stage as a power stage this though would be the fastest stage of event.

What do you guys think?

OK, all pending requests to join have been accepted.
@Willfred_1 , do you know if codemaster or someone else has put together a list of routes with distances? I won't have a chance to get into the game until Sunday to check, but I have to imagine that if there is a list, it'll be on the web.
As for the idea, I do like it, but I wonder what might be the ratio of long to sprint stages are. If we do not have enough short stages compared to long then it may not work with repeating tracks to quickly.
I like the idea of 2, 3 stage race events as well. This way they can all be raced at once (lets be honest, this game is a bit like those potato chips, you can't have just one... Or two, or three...) or spanned out over a couple of sessions.
I also agree with the one season a week thing. Less to manage for me, which is nice this time of year, and a longer chance for everyone to get around the running the stages.

here is a bit of info on lengths and stage construction.
https://www.reddit.com/r/dirtgame/comments/350e8i/dirt_rally_stages_infographic/
quick summary each country has two long stages these are split into smaller stages and all stages can be run in either direction meaning there are 12 stages in total. so i would suggest we do it like this

short 1 a short 1 b long 1 reverse

day 2
short 2a short 2 b 2 reverse then 1a or b in reverse.

in terms of season structure
each week we could have a different country. a season lasts 4 weeks
you just add an event each week.
in terms of restarts i wouldn't allow individual stage restarts but entire events this means you either rick it and do it all again or if it goes wrong accept and try to improve in other stages monaco might be the exception to this rule as that's the easiest to wreck your car.

these are just my thoughts i would personally treat this as a test season to get it all setup.

just gave it a go, well done to @TiZzla you were quick on the long stage and the 2nd but i was surprised by your pace on the final stage considering i went off twice. the 2wd are very well matched.

Nice time, yeah I had to reset on the last stage so I think it adds 10-15 seconds to your time. Does your mini have upgrades?

Hey Everyone,
Alright, the first season is in the books, and so is some vital info on how leagues work, and what is allowed in DR league setup and whats not. We can't set up multiple season, only one at a time, and apparently when a season is over all times are lost, only overall standings and points seem to be visible in the dashboard, if someone knows of a way to get the stage times of expired season, please let me know and I will get that data updated on the standings sheet.
However, some positives can also be found, the main one being the way events can be structured within a season. During setting up an event, you can pick the start and end date of each season. As such, seasons will now be set up to run the duration of a month, with as many events in that time as it takes to get through the month. In situations where a week runs into a month at the beginning/end of a month, the month that holds the majority of the days in said week will contain that week as an event week for that season. In the event the first day of a month falls on Wedneday, the month with the least amount of weeks will take that week, in all other events there will be a coin toss, or a die roll. We will also be upping the stages available in an event to 4.

Now, that out of the way, here are the results of the first season!

Thank you to all who participated. I am hoping that the above changes with month long season will make not only the weekly events more enjoyable, but also add to the thrill of the competition. By allowing those that had a bad stage or two the chance to recoup some of those points in the next weeks event i am hoping to it will keep people a little more interested and involved.

Ok, current season is setup and will be live today at 19:00 EST. Good luck everyone!

Edit: The OP has been update as well. Also, I will work on the OP some more and make sure to post this there, However, at the end of this season, the winner of the season will be allowed to pick the location of the next season!

Additional Edit: The second post has been updated with current standings that I will update at least daily, as well as more info about the current season.
