If it wernt for drafting I would have lost at the test course in the all stars race in proffeshonal with my F090/S. Every time I went into a draft I would go from 207 to 235mph

but in a car where down force matters during turns this shyt sucks...a real formula 1 car cant draft through turns at 200+ kmh because in order to grip the road wellenough it needs loads of downforce....not drag..but downforce so this tactic is basically useless

Drafting can make you pick up a considerable amount of speed. My Escudo goes about 300 MPH, but when I got a draft in 2P from my friend's Escudo on the Test Course, I was able to go 325 MPH. That is about the fastest the Scud can go without the wheelie trick.
