Thanks for the Practice last night Killer. Ill be on tonight also if anyone's interested to do some Practice

Ill be on tonight again just let me know what time. Ill be testing a wheel so may need some help getting going.

Wow 3 #11s, that will look interesting on track. I think we could still use another Ford and Bowtie should add a manufactuer championship, but that just my opinion.

Yeah that's too many 11's. Aren't these cars all the same anyway? I'd take the 88 but it was already taken.

Ill be on bowtie. Quick question how bad is the new update gonna change our setups for the first race. Just a thought.

Sorry guys I'm not going to make it tonight. Ive got a buddy stuck on the side of the road and got to go help him. Ya I was reading whats coming on the next update. I dont know we will just have to see.

Ok guys I'm thinking wednesday the 26th a test night. Start time around 8pm CST. To see how the update is going to effect our car setups.

Sounds good to me. Another thing is the tire wear lasting longer.

Hey guys take a look at the ARS group and look at the post named Cautions and tell me what what you thing.

I probably won't be racing later, because I have to study for a midterm exam. Oh the joy.

I tested with the new patch a little this morning and this is gonna be very interesting I was able to shave quite a bit of time with just messing with Aero on my base setup. I will be on tonight testing if anyone would like to join me for some tests before practice race tomorrow.

I was reading the 2.08 update post on here and in case you have not heard we now have draft in free run mode. I guess qualifying just went down the drain.

Maybe 1 at a time in practice or a maybe a qualifying race? I think cautions are ok to a certain point. Such as people wrecking every other lap and a caution is every other Lap. I think we are all decent drivers so yes I think we should just in case.

Doing single car runs for qualifying with a field of 8 or so cars is pretty lengthy. At Daytona you are talking 16-18 minutes depending on how fluid the field is at getting the next driver out on the track. Personally at the speedways, I don't see a benefit to qualifying at all (with the exception of a point or what not for being on the pole). There is so much passing on the speedways that starting position just isn't important.
