Hi guys!

I guess a lot of you guys have played the complete series of GT games. Whats the answer to X2010 in the previous games? Or has there been anything that overpowering in the previous ones at all?

Thanks,
Monkii

I don't think there's every been something that isn't further from reality than the X2010.

The x2010 is real. And is close to the real thing

the suzuki pikes peak was quite overpowered in gt1. i´m not sure if it was gt1 or gt2, though. it´s just too long ago.. ;)

I think the HKS drag car and Escudo were the fastest/quickest in previous GT's. The X1/X2010 isn't real, so I don't know where my views stand on this.

It is real, but theres only a prototype.

X1 is not real drivable car - it just a model car, made of wood, plastics, styrofoam and of course screws from Home Depot (jokin') well maybe some metal suspensions put in there, etc. watch the clip very closely you can see wood.

But i won't be surprise one day it might be a running car. Just like the Chaparral 2j that it was based.

Does it do all the things it can do in the video game?

No?

Didn't think so. It's not a real car.

Actually it does.

Honestly where are you getting this stuff! I'm truly shocked by the number of people who think that the X2010 exists - citing a video where you see people making it out of wood and clay! Didn't the part where Newey said he doesn't know how much it would cost, but it would be millions, give you a clue?

Well said, some people just see and hear what they want it to be. A model made out of clay and wood does not make it a real car! Where's the engine, where's the electronics, where's the cabin for that matter?! Wake up people, it's as real as Jordans tits.

The infamous flying Escudo from GT3 went much faster than the X1, but.....only on one track and only riding the wall

Maybe your right but somewhere i saw sebastian vettel talking about it

It exists because Vettel talked about it?

Sebastian Vettel talked about how he didn't run in to Mark Webber in Turkey last year, but that's not true either.

The X1/X2010 as it drives in GT5 does not exist. There may very well be a cardboard/wood/clay model, but that's all it is a cardboard/wood/clay model.

Once I see it drive, then it's real. But, until then, it's fake.

The same goes for every race car with the "LM" suffix. None of them exists but that doesn't seem to bother anyone for some reason. :dopey:

It's the same as every car from the Gran turismo series, bits, bytes and polygons.

I think the majority of us here are wasting our breath for the '40-watt' bunch. They probably think that Santa Claus The Movie was a documentry proving his very existance! :dopey:

Am I the only the only one who thinks that PD is courting the 12 year old crowd with the X1?

Next you will be saying that the tooth fairy is fictional.

Does it matter if its real? Its a game guys. Plus i read that given enough time and a large cash investment from somewhere they could make one. Theh just see no point so theyve made a shell of one

Here are the overpowering cars from previous games, (except GT1 because I've never played the full version).

GT4- FGT
GT3- The F1 cars (these were real cars, just not licensed).
GT2- Escudo and GT ONE road version

Exactly as I remember, I'll second your votes.

You can't identify something as real then quantify it 'close to the real thing'. They're contradicting statements.
