I do not condone this behavior, but all media in Poland are making Hitler out of the driver of this BMW.

I thought that maybe someone here would find it interesting.

Some guy just got busted around here in a Dodge truck doing 143.

I don't think the speed was the issue here, more the fact he was driving like an absolute mentalist.

I don't think it's very bad to hit the gas on an empty highway, but tacking like this in such dense city traffic... Daym. Even as a Russian driver I'd get angry about that guy if I met him on a road.

There was a similar moron on a Porsche Cayenne in Moscow who was arrested and highlighted on the news, too.

I saw a challenger and a mustang duke it out... on an interstate... during rush hour. Couldn't have been going faster 60 and could have caused a serious inconvenience for the working class who just want to go home.

On one hand, I don't really agree with the behavior... but on the other, the driver isn't being that insane with the line choices and how he reacts to traffic. Probably less dangerous than some soccer mom yelling at the kids in the back of the mini-van :p

Comparing him to Hitler seems a bit, just a bit, extreme.

Lane splitting in a car... I don't think the lanes here are wide enough for that.

I say throw him and the bikers in jair for 20 years. Those guys shouldn't be allowed to give motorheads a bad name.

Eventhough I don't approve of that kind of lunacy on a public road full of traffic, I've got to hand it to the BMW driver, he's got some unbelievable tekkers (in the words of Soccer AM)

Also that would never happen around here, if it did, it'd be over within 5 minutes as the guy would hit 3 major potholes and rip the wheel completely off.

freaking M3 drivers. They're always like this thinking they have the ultimate sports car. No wonder I still have yet to meet an M3 driver I've actually liked instead of some cocky, arrogant 🤬 who thinks he's the second coming of Ayrton Senna.

Just pay the 80 bucks and take it to the track, don't risk the lives of yourself or the other guys on the road who just wanna go to work or go home.

Wow, that guy is serious. I'm glad it was someone like him doing this, instead of a spur-of-the-moment idea by some average driver going in above their head. With that said, he still had a lucky moment or two.

Every M3 driver I know personally don't act like this. In fact the one I know the best is part manager at a racetrack near here. No need to attach driver labels to cars.

Just dumb.

It even looks like in/ after rush hour, which would be the baddest time to do something like this. At least Getaway in Stockholm kept it as far away from traffic as possible.

And he had a lot of chance, no matter what, any of those other drivers around him changing lane abrubtly would have caused a disaster. Simple as that.
The getting of the motorway and getting back up. There was a freaking accident. He didn't even slow down. What if a person would have been lying behind the car, van?
It was so close so often, a bit of bad luck and you **** up multiple families.

Seriouly, what a twit.

Take it to the track! Or at least some back roads, where if you screw up, you screw up yourself alone (Probability wise)

I guess the music he listened fitted the person driving

Hi. I drive an M3. I don't think I'm the second coming of Ayrton Senna. I don't go triple the speed limit and split traffic to chase street bikes. I understand in your 19 years of living you've met every possible M3 driver but I suggest you reconsider knowing everything in lieu of being practical.

Also, some irony considering you own one of the most over rated 80's cars for drift enthusiasts, which in my experience are the wildly irresponsible drivers compared to M owners.

Not quite. M3's have nothing to do with Senna or F1.

Around here it depends. Seems like the only cool M3 drivers are the E46 owners. E36 guys are usually riced to hell and E90's guys seem to make it their priority to cut you off or follow you at a distance of 2 feet until they get room to pass you and cut you off.

Not quite. M3's have nothing to do with Senna or F1.

Think he meant that they have the mentality that because they own the "ultimate driving machine" they think that translates to driving skill.

I dunno about that. Every AE86 owner I've encountered are very responsible dudes. If they wanna race, we take it to a track be it drifting or time attacks.

And I've encountered many, many M3 drivers. Most of them just say their car's better and do a burnout or something equally reckless. Heck, one of their meets near our AE86 meets got us kicked out of the parking lot since the cops had to come.

I do understand that not all M3 drivers are like this, just based on my experiences I get the impression people in those types of cars are far more likely to do reckless things like racing against a motorcycle. And yeah I also get that it applies to us AE86 owners too. I just remind everyone to be careful since our cars are harder to come by than M3's :)

Slow news day I guess?

@guywithanAE86 I wouldn't come in here guns blazing with generalizations of that magnitude, this ain't stand up comedy, or Florida.

Most I've known have had cut springs and are general idiots. And this from a decade of experience with Toyota/4AG communities as I use to run an AW11 with a Silvertop.

And odds are, I've run into more than you have seeing how I'm involved with local BMW clubs and a large sharp that builds racecars, ranging from E30 spec club cars to fully built M5's. And they are generally more realistic and responsible about their driving, partly because M cars don't have to be driven to the limit to be enjoyable on a day to day basis.

Also, the cars are better in terms of suspension, chassis, and drivetrain. That isn't even a discussion. Most M owners I know just roll their eyes when some kid in a "JDM Tyte" Toyota or Honda wants to race because it isn't worth the time. The inferiority complex is mildly amusing to watch in that crowd though.

If you understand that, then don't launch into some sweary rant built on nonsense. And clean AE86's are harder to come by because they're 30 years old, and those that are clear are so hilariously over valued most people would rather just buy an M3 at that point. I've never understand the obsession considering the MR2 was better at being sporty in every way with a rear suspension that made sense.

Cool video, but the driver was a complete ass. He's lucky he didn't get himself killed or someone else like the motorcycle riders. Also, it doesn't help with the stereotype of BMW owners being bad drivers.

And for the d-bag in the Cayenne, I'm glad he was arrested. No one should drive like that, ever. Nor should they put over used Inception music into their stupid montage of them acting like an asshole on the road.

Oh well, man. To each his own. You have your bad Toyota owners and I have my bad BMW owners. I'm gonna leave it at this.

You seem to have missed the point entirely, which is there are bad and good owners in all groups. Leaning on stereotypes and making wild statements because of some small personal sample is just silly. And I'm sure you've met plenty of owners, but given that you are making an Initial D joke (I remember watching that over a decade ago) does suggest what your expectations are.

But meh, come back in a decade and I'm sure you'll get it.

^Haaha  Finally, he reached the finish!
I hope nobody was hurt though.

Reminds me of this:

Here in Alaska that rarely happens. When it does, people are usually pretty smart about traffic and time of day.

Back in the 80's, though, motorcyclists were apparently terrorizing Anchorage. Some nights people would apparently have trouble sleeping because of the sportbikes racing around spewing noise at 2AM.
