Speeding isn't inherently dangerous. Weaving through traffic like an idiot is.Some guy just got busted around here in a Dodge truck doing 143.
Every M3 driver I know personally don't act like this. In fact the one I know the best is part manager at a racetrack near here. No need to attach driver labels to cars.freaking M3 drivers. They're always like this thinking they have the ultimate sports car. No wonder I still have yet to meet an M3 driver I've actually liked instead of some cocky, arrogant 🤬 who thinks he's the second coming of Ayrton Senna.
Just pay the 80 bucks and take it to the track, don't risk the lives of yourself or the other guys on the road who just wanna go to work or go home.

Not quite. M3's have nothing to do with Senna or F1.
I dunno about that. Every AE86 owner I've encountered are very responsible dudes. If they wanna race, we take it to a track be it drifting or time attacks.Hi. I drive an M3. I don't think I'm the second coming of Ayrton Senna. I don't go triple the speed limit and split traffic to chase street bikes. I understand in your 19 years of living you've met every possible M3 driver but I suggest you reconsider knowing everything in lieu of being practical.
Also, some irony considering you own one of the most over rated 80's cars for drift enthusiasts, which in my experience are the wildly irresponsible drivers compared to M owners.

And I've encountered many, many M3 drivers. Most of them just say their car's better and do a burnout or something equally reckless. Heck, one of their meets near our AE86 meets got us kicked out of the parking lot since the cops had to come.
I do understand that not all M3 drivers are like this, just based on my experiences I get the impression people in those types of cars are far more likely to do reckless things like racing against a motorcycle. And yeah I also get that it applies to us AE86 owners too. I just remind everyone to be careful since our cars are harder to come by than M3's![]()
Oh well, man. To each his own. You have your bad Toyota owners and I have my bad BMW owners. I'm gonna leave it at this. Most I've known have had cut springs and are general idiots. And this from a decade of experience with Toyota/4AG communities as I use to run an AW11 with a Silvertop.
And odds are, I've run into more than you have seeing how I'm involved with local BMW clubs and a large sharp that builds racecars, ranging from E30 spec club cars to fully built M5's. And they are generally more realistic and responsible about their driving, partly because M cars don't have to be driven to the limit to be enjoyable on a day to day basis.
Also, the cars are better in terms of suspension, chassis, and drivetrain. That isn't even a discussion. Most M owners I know just roll their eyes when some kid in a "JDM Tyte" Toyota or Honda wants to race because it isn't worth the time. The inferiority complex is mildly amusing to watch in that crowd though.
If you understand that, then don't launch into some sweary rant built on nonsense. And clean AE86's are harder to come by because they're 30 years old, and those that are clear are so hilariously over valued most people would rather just buy an M3 at that point. I've never understand the obsession considering the MR2 was better at being sporty in every way with a rear suspension that made sense.

He deserves it. The driver has done it more than once. I'm glad this idiot was caught.
