You know why they don't have a big as following as they used to is because Metallica sucks after the "And Justice for All" album. I used to listen to Metallica religiously until the Black album. Man, they sure have gone down hill that's for sure.

I think all of the Metallica albums are good. I think their best songs were Blackened and Dyers eve. Blackened has the hardest solo I've seen, I still dont know anyone who can play it. If you think the Black Album sucks.. well thats your opinion. I guess you were expecting something really heavy like Meshuggah.

the black album isnt as good as the earlier albums but back in the early 1990's change was a good thing for almost every metal band. Blackend and Master Of Puppets i have to say is the best song the metallica has ever made. the best album would have to Ride The Lightning.
