Especially when Donald gets in playing shape. Hopefully they have both of their games against Seattle national games so I can 2 great defenses go at it. Probably both have both teams score in 30s just because😁

I'm just glad the Panthers aren't facing the Rams this season. šŸ˜… Sucks for the others that do.
Ayep, week 2 IIRC when they are all healthy 😭

Oops I missed the draft, but the autopicks look better than anything I could put together.

As ever we thank the Browns for continuing to be the Browns
The Steelers are also keeping 4 QBS but our no 1 isn't quite as bad as theirs.

Yeah I don't I have seen Aaron Rodgers complaining about fans booing him during the preseason.

OBJ will wear #13 again this season. Yay? I should be excited, I want to be, but the realist in me is just rolling his eyes right now.

Well tonight is the start of the NFL season. As an avowed Patriots hater I hope we get a repeat of the Super Bowl get the bricks beat off of them. Tomorrow night we have the Rams vs 49ers which actually occurs early Friday in Australia. Will the Rams go undefeated as the media is saying? We'll see as me I just want my & @Blitz24 J-E-T-S Jets, Jets, Jets to win 7 games. Low bar I know but hey that's where I am with them

7 games? I think you are playing Madden too much.

I was hoping for overtime, but alas it didn't happen. Per the norm, my phone blows up after a Seahawks win between my friends, co-workers, the wife's friends all to say 'SEE? WE GUUD! JOIN US' more or less

That last pass from Maye was a crazy decision. No idea why you would even think about throwing in that situation anyway. Just kick the field goal and go to OT.

As a dedicated Patriots hater, I don't think he should stop attempting throws like that though. You do you, Drake. :p

Nah I don't play Madden. The defense will be improve and Geno Smith is a competent QB. They have talent at WR, TE & RB. If they can keep Geno upright he can get the ball out. They will get at least 1 int this year they got some big bodies in the middle so they won't give 150 yds a game in rushing. They won 5 games last year with Justin Fields, Brady Cook & Tyrod Taylor so 7 has to be the floor.
As far as last night I am so glad the Pats lost. I don't believe they will 14 games again. They won 7 one score games last year so there will be some regression to the mean. So tonight (friday morning) it's Ram vs. 49ers

Not make any excuses for the Rams but maybe just maybe they lost the game by not preparing like the 49ers. Also I wonder if they were more concerned about not having to adjust once they got back stateside. That's not take anything away from the 49ers but they may gotten an advantage. But even with that advantage they still had to go out there and play. One last thing I thought about last night is the 49ers have been the Rams kryptonite for a few years so I wasn't totally surprised by the outcome.

49ers were devastated by injuries last year. Seeing their roster now, I'm like... "oh....right, oof." They looked great last night, that division is gonna be off the rails again this year. I might not want to miss any of their rivalry games. Of course they lose so they are gonna be all pissed off and fired up AND have 99 against us in Week 2.

Not even at the end of the first quarter. But ths the Panthers defence. No QB pressure, not able to stop the run. I've seen this movie before.

Edit. Oh yeah. Thus is about to get real nasty. 🫤

Edit. 45 pts conceded thru three quarters. lmao. Know the Bears offense is great but the Panthers DC needs to pack up his things.

Looks like Myles Garret will be out for the next four weeks pending knee surgery for an issue that had been bothering him since the preseason. That probably hasn't completely torpedoed the Rams' season, but they definitely can't afford to get any more injuries if they want to stay relevant.

Good win by the Jets but even better loss by the Colts. Danny Dimes doing Danny Dimes things. I was hoping Texans could pull it out so at least for 1 week I could say the Jets are 1st place alone. Deshaun Watson looked like a QB who is washed but hey Todd Monken knows best. @Spacegoat the clock is ticking for Evero if they give up a bunch of points to the dirty birds he might be gone. Caleb Williams looked amazing I thought Bryce Young played well but it got to be too much for the offense IMO. OSU , Colts and Pats lost so this has been a good weekend for me. I know Ohio St is not a pro team but I'm always happy when they lose ( Go Blue!)

Who ISNT happy when Ohio State loses....

and the Jets will be back to normal by week 2. They play the Packers, Lions and Bears in the next 3 weeks.

My Eagles trying to get things moving with a new OC, leading the Commanders right now 17 - 9

Well the Packers are Micah Parsons and as long as they don't give up 52 to the Bears I'm good. Lions may well be an L but we'll see. If they can finish 2-2 the 1st 4 that will be great. TBH it's not that far fetched

The NFC North laughs at the Packers (don't look at the Lions game though šŸ™ƒ)

Ideally I'd want him gone before next week.

It just blows. Wasted one of the best offensive performances I've seen out of them in the last three seasons. Bryce looked great (don't ever want to hear any criticism of him ever again from anyone in the media or on the internet. He is not a problem in the slightest), Jalen Coker is a freakin stud and Chuba Hubbard looked back to his old self.

To put up 37pts and still lose by 22... Someone's head has to roll for this.

At least all the other NFC South teams lost too.

I'm stoked at tonight's performance on SNF, we played well except for the DPIs that gave Dallas a TD. Cam caught his own fumble but I hope Tracy learns from his fumble mistake along with our CBs Phillips and Newhouse. If there's a time to do those PIs, it's week 1  I can feel the Harbaugh playing with these guys, just like I felt with Coughlin. I don't want to get my hopes up, especially with what 99 can do next week, but like always, as long as its a close game I'll (usually) be happy (glares at 2025 4th qtr losses).

Quick college football news...the Ducks suck something awful  There's zero chance of them doing anything, they should be unranked. And yes, I also feel better when Ohio State loses. I can never understand Ohio as a state. What's all the fuss about, #overrated? Why are they a red state with lots of blue collar workers (is that right, with lots of blue collar workers?)? Anyway, can't wait for tomorrow's game, should be great!

The new McCarthy era in Pittsburgh seems a lot like the old Tomlin era.

I laughed when the announcer was like Cam was trying to dribble like Jalen Brunson . Good game by the Giants they came out ran the ball and played smart. Once they intergrate Malachi Fields more they are going to be dangerous on offense.

So let me get this straight. We beat Dallas week 1, yet they are ranked higher than us?

WTF ESPN, lulz.

Jerome

Yeah I saw that. No respect for the NY teams at all. If the Jets and Giants win either both of one of them I wonder where they will rank next week. Both teams are undedogs

I think the Chiefs will be alright this year.

Kenneth Walker III (K9) gives me Priest Holmes and early Kareem Hunt vibes. Maybe I've forgotten what stellar running back play looked like?

Kahlil Benson looked great, and it felt really good to have Sneed back. Taylor's husband may be "old", but he's still got it.

Kenneth Walker III did a THING that night.

He scored a receiving touchdown, a rushing touchdown, more points than the opposing team, and more yards than the opposing team.

The only other human being to ever do it was my first neighbor, who also played for the Royals, Mr. Bo Jackson.

There's a college player with the name Bo Jackson, I don't recall which team it was. But I was like 'how dare you!' I'll probably watch the Chiefs game tonight, could be fun. Then of course I'll watch MNF, eeek!

Obviously Atlanta doesn't have anyone at QB. But that was more of what I was expecting from the Panthers defence. Devin Lloyd looking like prime time Luke Kuechly out there. 2 Inceptions, a TD, a sack. Ooh boy, they finally have a competent linebacker again.

Edit. Caleb Williams done for the year by the sounds of things? Feel for him. Thats rough.

I actually like Williams and hate that he got hurt. I do enjoy that Ben Johnson is going to have a hard time now.

I like Williams too. I hope he’s not too banged up.

I need Fulton to stop giving yards to Indianapolis.
