The case of missing DLC cars ( Collectors Edition ) (please pin)

Out of curiosity, do you remember when you entered the codes?
I got my copy early and entered the codes early and I wonder if that could be the issue.

You might be right. I didn't install my game untill this week. I entered the codes while the 1.03 update was downloading on Wednesday.

That can't be the case. I go my Collector's a day later (19 October) and I'm still missing my safety car pack..

EDIT: Try to delete the game (not your saved data) and install it again (download the updates too). This might work because I had seen a forum in playstation blog.
It said also to restore our licenses (didn't worked) and deactivate-activate again our ps4 (didn't worked either).

Don't delete your game if you have a slow connection because it will take hours for the updates to download again.

I will try it. After I reinstall it I will restore my licenses and activate my ps4 again as my primary ps4. Then, I will download the 2 car packs again and open the game.
Let's see if this works.

If anyone does this, let us know if it worked please.

Maybe it will work for somebody but in my scenario It wont. I have got double Vouchers for 1 500 000 Credits all same and it somehow screwed up, for the information I have bought Collector Edition , so i should have 3 000 000 credits not 1 500 000 credits because they said that who pre-orders game will get extra 500 000 kredits and with collector bonus 2 500 000 credits. I have not got safety car pack , dynamic theme and 1 500 000 credits are missing
 
I have just received my game in the post, day one edition, do you think i should hold off on entering the bonus code or is it only affecting the collectors edition ?
 
You can try it. I think all or most bonus codes are wrong. You can always go to your downloads and delete it if it causes problems. If you decide to download it again, you can always find it in the Playstation store "my downloads" section

Another UK Collectors edition missing the Silver Helmet and Safety Car Pack. Tried all the above but nowt. Was going to contact Shopto but i dont think its their problem as stated above they didnt put the codes in the box!

Has anyone tried this out yet? I'm also thinking of re-installing the game.
 
I'm going to try to re-register the PS4, if that doesn't do it, I'll then delete the 3 car pack & see if that works. If not, I'll delete the game data not the save & re-download
 
The codes are in the box for the disc and a DL for the digital. I pre-ordered. My dad bought the deluxe and it was inside. Go to ps store, pan down on the left to redeem codes and enter it. Once you use it it's gone so use it on the account you plan to race with or else...
 
I picked up my collectors edition after 1.03 i got everything,i think. i have safety cars, helmet,avatars and theme,i think there was 21 cars all up but 3 can not use(rights issues)So i don't know.I had 2 codes inside my disc and was not going to put them in to redeem after reading all about the problems,so i was shocked when they worked.
 
Same. Europe/Spain . No Pace Car Pack, no Chrome Helmet, no Dynamic Theme.
I contact Sony PlayStation Spain and they take all my detalles, they say to me they are working in this but that más all ready 2 weeks a go, call yesterday and still no answer about..
I hope they will fix soon, because 129€ for a fiscal collector's edition and whit this issue is very sad..
 
Same issue here, Uk Collectors Edition, entered codes that came with the game, got 3 duplicate cars that cannot be used, No Safety Cars, No Chrome Helmet and no Theme.

I'm going to try to re-register the PS4, if that doesn't do it, I'll then delete the 3 car pack & see if that works. If not, I'll delete the game data not the save & re-download

I've deleted game, re-downloaded the DLC and tried to re-do the licenses. But still no joy. Not re-registered the PS4 though. But I doubt that'll do anything either.
 
I talked a week ago with the guys from where I bought the game and yesterday they sent me 4 codes: American, Europe, Japan and Safety car pack ( I was missing only the Europe Car Pack, from the Day One edition of the game and the rest was a compensation for the problem I encountered). They received the codes from Sony. So You should receive the codes from the retailer. Still no chrome helmet. I will talk with the guys from the store and I will post here what they'll say.

So, like some of you have seen and/or complained about.
the Collectors Edition dlc codes, are lacking 3 cars.

mainly :

*Peugeot 908 HDi FAP - Team Peugeot Total
*Mercedes-AMG GT-safetycar
*BMW M4-safetycar

This is because the **Collectors Edition**, comes with codes from the **Steelbook Edition** and the **Digital Deluxe** instead of a full **Collectors Edition** code.

wich include the following cars :

Steelbook Edition, 6 cars

* Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 N24 Schulze Motorsport
* Chevrolet Corvette C7 Gr.3

While this das indeed give us 18 cars, as the Collectors edition promises. A few problems arise.
Because as you can see, the following cars are dubbel, and become useless in the garage as they cannot be sold or touched otherwise.

* update 1# . called sony, the dude tryed to blame the retail store, i had to explain to him that the package is prepacked in the factory and cannot be opend to exange codes instore.
he asked me to send him an email with photo's of the product, the dlc codes, and reciept.

Exact same thing happened to me I have sony dealing with the issue now, they have acknowledged thaty there is an issue with the dlc pack and that I should have been given the missing cars, its been given over to tech guys to rectify the issue
 
So I talked to Game today about this, they said I need to contact Sony who will log my issue and give me a reference number, if Sony can't resolve it for me I need to email Game with the reference number from Sony, my order number, name, address, summary of the issue and a picture of the issue (The Duplicate Cars bit of the issue). Game can then get a code for the missing items generated for me, however when I contacted Sony the fella was very good, knew of the issue, gave me my reference number and escalated it to the relevant department who he said will most likely generate me a code for the missing items. He said he wasn't too sure of the current turn around time but said he would hope it to be no more than a few days and they would be in touch with my code/s.
 
Alright GTPlanet Crew, I've just gotten word back from PlayStation Support:

I'm not able to check until I return home around midnight this evening but it looks as though it's not going to be a network patch unless this code has been automatically rolled out to all those confirmed as having the collectors edition?

NOTES: Whilst the pack was already in my account awaiting download you need to Restore Licenses by [Closing the Application - GTSport] > Selecting [Settings] > [PlayStation™Network/Account Management] > [Restore License]. Then restart the game. You'll then see see a black UI titled 'Confirmation' with a thumbnail of a car with a black reveal cover (See image 5 below).

Please check if your account is set up as Primary.
Please follow the instructions bellow on how you can set up your account as a Primary on your PS4:

Just got the Collector's Edition.
The codes for the Safety Cars and other stuff works, but I got three duplicates (Chevy Corvette Gr.3, Nissan GTR Gr.3 and Toyota VGT Gr.3) I can use all cars.
What will happen if I delete the DLC? Will all of the cars go away or they will become unavailable, but still present in the garage?

EDIT: after restarting the game, the duplicated cars are now not usable.

EDIT: wait... how do I delete the packs?

I just tried to delete the bonus car packs. No luck. This is after the PS4 update & it downloaded the 1.03 GTS update. The only thing wrong now is instead of having 2 Peugeot 908's with one that says "no rights", I only have one 908 and it's the one with "no rights"
I just turned the crap off, I'll fight with Sony later, I'm tired of trying to figure this out.

Hey man, my long time friend, I lost one 908, the one that I could use, now I only have one in my garage and it's "no rights"... Can't even use it
 
Ok, called my game retailer, Gamestop. They gave me the only code they had. It's a 'backup' code. I entered it in & it appears to combine 2 other codes. When I entered it, it said "already downloaded"...
Problem NOT SOLVED!
 
Bad news. I don't think we'll get the chrome helmet. I asked the guy fom the store and he knew about the problem. Instead of giving me a code for the helmet, he gave me 3 codes for car packs ( pace, American and one more). So Sony can't give codes for the helmet (at least in my country). Maybe they should make it available for everyone ( it would be easy and fast)
 
Hey everyone
So i called Sony support UK, 1st time nothing was done about it and was brushed under the carpet but i called again on the weekend and they sent an email with a link to supply evidence of purchase. I was missing the safety car pack with no duplicate cars. I got an email today saying they added the pack to my account which was true and i now have most of the dlc, just missing the theme. weather or not that was supposed to be with the collectors edition I have no idea. So I emailed back saying it’s missing and will see if it’s supposed to be included.
 
That's awesome. I raced online Friday & the other players had the same issue as me, (2 908's but one has no rights) that's the only problem I have left in the game but many people have that exact same issue
