That's for Motorsport though, and I think Horizon's color settings are a bit different.

None of the games are actually "different" per se, the values simply need very minimal adjusting (typically ± 1-5 in either direction), whether that be because the color gradients have been updated in some form or fashion, or something else entirely I don't quite know.

Ultimately, whether it be Motorsport or Horizon it doesn't matter.

Since the colors that usually give the more problems in the transition between one game and another are pearlescents and metallics, I'd blame it on the changes and differences in the lightning models more than anything else.

Anyways, let me repost the colors I'd already posted in the "Show off your paints" thread...



BMW Solar Orange Metallic (B91) - M

Color 1 - H: 0.03R S: 0.83L B: 0.45R
Color 2 - H: 0.07R S: 0.88L B: 0.91R



BMW Protonic Blue Metallic (C01) - M

Color 1 - H: 0.58R S: 0.94L B: 0.75R
Color 2 - H: 0.56R S: 0.67L B: 1.00R



Nissan Grand Prix Maroon (116) - S

Color 1 - H: 0.97R S: 0.57L B: 0.17R



Ford Performance Liquid Blue (---) - 2P

Color 1 - H: 0.60R S: 0.85R B: 1.00R
Color 2 - H: 0.61R S: 0.74L B: 0.90L



Ford Guardsman Blue (PPG 12832) - 2P

Color 1 - H: 0.61L S: 0.58R B: 0.75L
Color 2 - H: 0.57R S: 1.00R B: 0.90L

...and add in two colors which were requested by @jwesson1: Lamborghini's Grigio Telesto and Audi's Nardo Grey. The latter is apparently quite easily matched with the use of a solid paint; but the former required quite a lot of finagling, and I'm not really satisfied with the end result: the end result doesn't react to direct sunlight in the same way its real-life equivalent does, which is a shame.

Color 1 - H: 0.62L S: 0.13R B: 0.60L



Lamborghini Grigio Telesto (0098) - 2P

Color 1: - H: 0.59R S: 0.15R B: 0.59L

It's already in that color, but I could get the codes. I'm also going to redo Ingot Silver so it looks more shiny.

That's a good question. I'm getting all sorts of conflicting information on this: apparently it's not. IRL it's a very particular paint which looks very different in low- and high-light conditions; either giving the impression of a solid "military" grey color, or of a metallic gun grey. I tried to replicate it with the use of a solid color, but wasn't convinced at all by the result. I may give it another shot, tho - as it is, I'm not really satisfied with this pearlescent option either.

Of course it'd be much easier to get the color right if we either had more paint effect options, or the possibility to adjust the effects manually - but I doubt T10 will ever concede us such freedoms; apparently, being able to precisely replicate manufacturers paints would greatly displease the crown... Or something like that.

P.S: Grigio Telesto should also be available as a default color on the Gallardo Superleggera and Murcielago SV (which share an oddly specific grey color); if it is, then I know I've still done a better job than T10 at replicating this specific paint!

I noticed this when painting the Jeep Willys. The stock military paint is a form of "Super Matte" that has even less shine than the Matte paint you can choose from Special Paints. If you overlay decals on top of it you get almost no shine at all:

The Gurkha LAPV has the same 'Super Matte' finish too. Also, Carbon Fiber Matte paint has less shine than Matte paint.
 
Would anyone be able to recreate the bright yellow/green seen on the Subaru rally cars of the mid-2000's? I tried to create it for use on my 2015 WRX Rally Car but couldn't get it quite right

Another 4 BMW colors, as requested by @jwesson1 and @Rossi1196. With my newfound familiarity with how metallic colors work in the game, it was quite easy to get some pretty convincing replicas!
