So i just bought this car to see what the hype is all about. My first impression. This car is bloody hard to control. It's just mad around the corners. How did this car do so good at the ring with the 140 corners?

You can RM it, but it is still overrated then, it is a good car for when your below Lv15. After that, you get the hyper-cars with 225+ top speeds.

Try sports softs, it'll be easier.

Throttle control.

Yes, throttle control is key. The driver at the 'Ring didn't just floor it through every corner lol :P

You thought ZR1 is hard to control? Try Yellowbird. 👍

Back on topic, yeep, i agree, it's one of the hardest to control in the beginning but once you master it, you can do powersliding on every corner. :D

If you call overrated a car that RM and fully upgraded can beat every event it can enter... then I guess it is overrated... if kicking the A%$ out of LMP and C group cars driven by the AI is overrating the car... then I guess it is overrated... but for me it was the best bang for buck I could get... even won the previous seasonal with it... the one before this one.

I actually think it's rather easy to drive. Once you learn to know its limits it's quite a predictable car. I've beaten several supercars online with it. If anything I think it's abit underrated due to it's American origins.

I agree its fun but I don't think he's looking to powerslide the car :P

638 horsepower in a car with an engine in the front with rear wheel drive, thats why its so hard. I have over 1500 miles on mine and I've grown used to it. Its almost as fast as my Zonda R around the Ring. I use sports soft on mine. I love it. Its probably my favourite car in the game.

Turn off all assists, all gauges, etc, and go into the interior view and drive the Ring, one of the best things in GT5 in my opinion.

Well, they can't flame you by any means. The ZR1 did in fact use Super Slick track tires for it's 7:19 lap at the Nurburgring.

Didn't the GT-R, Viper, and 911 Turbo do that as well? Not trying to start a flame war, just wondering.

They don't state it, but I believe the ACR ran on it's Semi-Slick tires. I know the LFA Nurburgring Edition ran a 7:22 on street legal tires. But for the rest I'm not to sure.

They all used street legal tires.

Corvette is the best handling car in the game IMO. If you can't get them around a corner, perhaps you should do some lisence tests, not to be rude or anything...

Oh nooo, Don't RM it.
RM is for... :D

It's a great car, tune suspension properly and it will have a lot of grip i Nordschleife corners.
Buy front aerodynamics, don't instal rear aerodynamics because it causes power oversteer in high speed corners.
Mine is fully upgraded, just have to work on reducing mid corner understeer and it's ready to kick some RM, JGTC, DTM or LMP asses :D

but try this in the arta garaiya .Those yellow headlights are crazy.

Really? Were the Super Slicks the ZR1/Z06 on street legal? I'm not 100% knowledgeable on what exactly what compounds are street legal or not.

They were inferior versions of the Viper ACR tire.

Rear downforce prevents power oversteer in high speed corners. Too much at the front causes it. Unless you're saying something is wrong with GT's physics.

Just so everyone knows nurburgring times don't mean much because each manufacture does it their own way. There is no standard to go by. For example the ACR had an entire team of dodge engineers there for quite a while adjusting everything to get it just right, while chevy for the 2011 z06 carbon(don't know about the zr1) just used factory settings and tires.
