Extreme Hall > Formula Gran Turismo Championship

15 Races, all approx. 1.5 hours in length. Good news is that if you race using a Series, you only need to place 1st in the first 11 races, then you can just cancel through the last 4 and still come out on top.

NOTE TO ASIAN GT4 COPY OWNERS: The series will award you with - - credits for coming in 1st. When the award money screen shows up, DO NOT press anything to speed up the "money count" (as we all do, hehe). The screen will "type out" the two dashes, freeze for a second, and then an OK button will appear. Again, DO NOT press anything when the Series Bonus money screen shows up, it will lock up your game.

Okay, I'm at day 309 (or thereabouts) and I'm working on saving up the credits to get those spiffy carbon fiber LM cars. I was doing the $250,000 trick with the second of the Special Condition races, which was getting the job done, but not in a hurry (although I did find out you can't win more than one of those Toyota RSC Raid Rally cars at a time, if you're doing this trick, after every time you win the car, go sell it, then start the series over again).

However, I read about the $900,000 method going through the German touring competition in the European courses. After getting the Mercedes CLK Touring car, and B-spec'ing through the competition (although I hope my driver eventually pulls his head out of his butt, the point spread was a lot closer than it needed to be), I won the $750,000 car (too lazy to go look up what it was), and sold it for a tidy sum.

Now, when I go back to do the German competition again, it doesn't give me the option of clearing the stats and starting over. Do I need to do those races in A-spec mode before it gives me the option of redoing them? If I can't redo them because it's a series, then there's no other way to get that car again, is there?

Thanks for any advice anyone can offer...

^ noticed that but jsut race the series again and it will give another car - but it doesnt seem to have the opening "clear" option.. not sure why though.

Oh yeah. I'm just too used to the Gamespot forums

Just wondering, everyone is going by the days it says in your garage right? Everyone is getting me cnofused with these cycles and what not. So when it says 694 in my garage, that is when they'll appear right?

Okay to clear up this thing abou tclearing you cups for events, you don't clear cups for series events, you just re-race the whole series. For single race events you get given the option to clear the cups and you percent complete so you can re-win them and re-win the car again. Also not that any cars you win for hitting a certain percent complete can't be re-won, ie if you hit 50% and win the Jag XJR-9 then clear a few cups to go back to 48% then re-win them to go back over 50%, you don't re-win the Jag.

Has anyone else bought these four sexy cars yet? I finally reach the 694th day and with $15Mil in Credits, Went straight to the Used Car Showroom I and bought the 1991 Mazda 787B and the 1992 Nissan R92CP. Then went to the Used Car Showroom II and bought the 1999 Toyota GT-ONE and the 1998 Nissan R390 GT1. Sucks you can't change the wheels on them, because Gold/Bronze wheels on black cars is just sexy.

Price:
1991 Mazda 787B - 1,224,999
1992 Nissan R92CP - 1,224,999
1999 Toyota GT-ONE - 2,924,999
1998 Nissan R390 GT1 - 2,924,999

After Oil Changes:
1991 Mazda 787B - 801HP
1992 Nissan R92CP - 951HP
1999 Toyota GT-ONE - 774HP
1998 Nissan R390 GT1 - 798HP

After Oil Changes & Full Mods:
1991 Mazda 787B - 903HP
1992 Nissan R92CP - 1155HP
1999 Toyota GT-ONE - 1101HP
1998 Nissan R390 GT1 - 1059HP

The 787B has bronze wheels...at least in the rear. In GT3 it had them fore and aft. But for some reason, the front rims have been changed to these weird flat steel "dinner plates."

Hrm now I have a reason to start another game save and use that all cars in the garage gs code. I wonder if these 4 will be included in that code or will I still have to wait the 694 days to actually buy them. I will try this out later on.

So you'd have to do the money trick with the DTM thing ten times

auagh... these days go by soooo slow when you keep doing endurance races lol... 18 hours into nurburg... bah.... then 40 more days till i get my hands on those 4 :)

Yeah waiting for the 694th day took forever! I would do the DTM race until I had like 15mil.. and then I would just buy cars in the Used Lots and even New Cars, because everytime you buy a car, the day changes. and when you change the wheels, thats an extra day.. and when you add a wing, another day will add.. and if you sell any car.. for every car, one day goes by..

this is what i did,

get into any car,
then go to gt auto
then go to wheel shop
then choose daily spiecals

note* its the best and fastest way to do this, becuade the wheels change every day and u will never have the same wheel 2days in a row, it took me an hour to get 250days, just press x repitatly, u can just watch tv or somthing to pass the time. :sly:

Just to set me straight, everyone is going by the days posted when you're in the gargage right..
yes lol

Buying wheels of the day over and over again costs quite an amount in the end. What I did was go into Photo Mode and exited out. Free and relatively quick.

And shouldn't you guys be, oh I don't know... RACING the days away??
