Do we have an ETA on when Offline Hybrid mode will be available? November? December? 😁
I heard that they're going to do a test in November, and if that goes well they'll probably release the patch in either December or January.Do we have an ETA on when Offline Hybrid mode will be available? November? December? 😁
I think there's 2 main things I would wish to know about offline mode:I heard that they're going to do a test in November, and if that goes well they'll probably release the patch in either December or January.
One thing I seriously am hoping for is the ability to race our own track creator tracks. I don't mind not being able to play others' but at least I'd love to be able to drive my own ones. 😔Speaking of TCM, Season 7's content feels generally half-baked compared to previous releases. There are no season reward cars, and there are a lot of small mistakes in the Season 7 content, like last month's Ferrari bundle price.
However, I feel that this is due to them being busy finalizing the development of TC2's offline mode, and that they are allocating more staff to that.
I don't have high hopes for offline mode.
That's because TC2 is already a game waiting for its servers to be shut down, and the decision to add offline mode was made at short notice in response to community anger over the TC1 shutdown.
Therefore, I expect that only content that doesn't heavily depend on online play will be available in the final update.
However, I also hope that they will deliver something that exceeds my pessimistic prediction. If they add challenges that allow permanent access to past summits and Motorpass rewards, like TCM's Prestige Tickets, this game would be perfect in the end.
This is definitely true. As I previously posted about the Livery Editor, almost all of TC2's community content is probably not stored local storage, so unless they make fundamental changes to the system, all of that content created by other players will be lost when the game goes offline. One thing I seriously am hoping for is the ability to race our own track creator tracks. Reminder that the RX3 Raigyo Edition is available for BRONZE in this week's Summit (I.e. you only have to complete one event) and this has a very high top speed (but is dead slow when stock in the loaned car summit eventAgreed - it seems to be using a similar approach to GT Sport and we lost the "downloaded " liveries for that when the game went offline.
PS I need 1.5m for this week's summit and almost 1m for the Veneno next week (atleast I have the other cars already) 😭
The week after that there is no car, only vanities to win.
End of August is Road to Oahu - make sure to play at least one summit race that week as you get the Mazda RX3 Raigyo Edition for BRONZE which is supposed to have a very high top speed.
Is there a specific tune for it? Because my Raigyo can barely reach 384 km/h while the 3000GT No Rules can go above 450 km/h. Both equipped with Nitro Chemist (Frenetic + Pure).this has a very high top speed
I'm not sure - I only have the post below to go on (I don't have the car till next week) and they don't state any specific tune:Is there a specific tune for it? Ah ok, now I see. He just read the stats and didn't bother to actually test the cars. Yes Raigyo can go 240mph as it say on the stats, but the 3000GT No Rules can do 285mph even though it says 227mph on the stats. So if you need top speed in street go for the 3000GT that you probably already got from the Storm races.I'm not sure - I only have the post below to go on (I don't have the car till next week) and they don't state any specific tune:
