Twitch drops are available at the beginning of each season for a limited time. This one will end on 20 of November. Since you missed the start of season 7 you also missed those Twich drops. Next one will be happening in March when season 9 start.

❗ Information regarding known issues. ❗

We want to keep you informed on the current state of different issues you may experience below:

▶️ Stutters: This is our main focus. We tried a fix this morning during the maintenance, and we didn't get the expected results. The team is working hard on this issue, and we have a few promising leads. We'll keep you updated!

▶️ Grand Race crashes: We see fewer issues since yesterday's emergency maintenance, but still some. Some of you also reported that you're losing points even if you win. We aim for a quick fix, probably next week. Please be aware that this fix may require a Rank reset.

▶️ Photomode crashes: We're working on a solution, but it won't be available until a few weeks from now.


▶️ Collection Import/Mainstage Challenge/Custom Show: We're making progress on a fix for these 3 issues. We're aiming to fix it quickly, probably next week.
 
First time back on Motorfest in a few months. I really like that the majority of special edition cars can have their wheels changed now, as well as cars like the R35 GTR and A90 Supra aren't stuck with official rims only.
Here's my Charger SRT-8 Lab Edition with new rims.

So when they say probably next week, do they mean they might get it done over the weekend, or it might not even happen next week?! I bet the +50% has finished by the time they've done it (I don't want to buy the new playlist car bundle until the vehicle import is fixed, so can't do the new playlist or the summit on accounts that didn't already have the M2 Beehive).

Are they going to do this every time there's one or more cars needed in TCM that can be bought in TC2? It was the same last time, they didn't fix it until after when the cars were needed.

Who knows? They did release a patch today, but import issue is not the top priority so I doubt it's going to happen soon. That being said you should still consider buying the bundle since the M3 is needed for starting the playlist. The bundle cost 86k more than the M3 from the shop alone (without discount). And since you can't complete all the weeklies you will actually lose money.

The new BMW M2 CS is one of several new cars to make its video game debut in The Crew Motorfest.

Interested to see what new brands they can secure in the coming year. I don't really bother with the summits or even the customization, I just like to mess around in different machinery. Hoping they add more bikes - and especially cruisers like the Triumph and the Indians. Sometimes I just like to take a long leisurely ride around the islands. One of the plus points of this game over Horizon for me.

And yes, I know I could import some bikes from TC2, but I don't want to have to buy & play another game to get content in this one.

I didn't like the new playlist, I thought it was cringe-worthy and a bit meh.

I hope they sort the challenges completed bug out soon, if you do complete the challenges any way will they end giving the XP for it?

The game crashed for me after completing two Grand Races, so I had a bit of a frustrating time playing the game today.

The Street Playlist was cool, but the lines were pretty cringe during Freeroam. Haven't done BMW yet. Also not a big multiplayer guy, so rarely touch the GR and DR.

In the end, I bought the bundle to be able to take advantage of the xp and credits boost. It cost 200k more than if the game had correctly recognized my ownership of the M2 Beehive.

I quite like the races in the new playlist as they're a bit more individual than some other recent playlists. It's a bit frustrating that I don't think there's any way to make the minimap cover a larger area like you can in TC2, which limits the ability to plan routes in the free races.

This week Summit speed trap is broken. In a good way.
I did some Summit after the maintenance. While approaching the speed trap I messed it up, lost control and got 156 km/h. You need 150 to pass. But then the score showed full points. I was... ok, I'm good with that. 🤣

Anyway I'm glad they fixed the weeklies and Custom Show. It was depressing to watch the same M4 from the last week after submitting the car this morning.

Until now, I've had trouble dealing with the ST1 coupe SUVs. No matter what I did, they just didn't look cool.

But the stance update and real rims have changed that. I lifted them, offset the tires as far out as possible, and fitted them with block tires. And the rims are HRE off-road style.
I was able to instill an off-road spirit into these cars, which have no idea about off-roading. They will be my companions from now on when I play off-road events in custom mode.
 
It doesn't seem to have been mentioned yet, but season 5 and 6 items were added to the prestige shop as well. I'd been wanting the Carpenter Brut themed stuff for a while now.
 
The M3 CS surely has to be some sort of new meta. I'm roughly matching or beating my Taycan times on Taycan tracks, but it has a much higher top speed than the Taycan, as well as much better handling. E.g. on 911 Arrival the Taycan was out in its own by 3 seconds compared to everything else, for me, but the M3 CS roughly equals or betters it (my driving isn't consistent enough to say anything more definitive than that).

I dont think times before and after the year 3 update are comparable as the cars get more sideways now, which I think was necessary for more nuanced gameplay (Im liking that it makes street tier 2 more interesting).

On another note how daft is the first event in the summit this week with the right hander that goes over the beach through the water up an embankment with trees on the driving line... lol who signed that off? must have been in a rush!

I tried quite a few cars today on the Designing History event, which Akor uses for his testing, and I couldn't beat the M3 CS with the F50 or Taycan. My relative times are quite different to his, maybe due to me using auto gears. With auto gears, the M3 CS leaves the F50 for dead at the start.

It will probably cause a bump in players for a while and the Summit might be more competitive (I never get more than Silver anyway).

Although it's only on Ultimate for now and those numbers must have dropped since the 50% increase in price.

I think it's also a tactic to try to increase sales of the Year pass. Basically, play the game for free on GPU and while you're doing that, why not buy the Year passes.

TC2 was added to the Cloud gaming compatible list recently, so I had a suspicion that TCM was probably coming to GPU after seeing that.
 
Loving the new BMW personally think it's wasted on the latest summit and playlist though, a great vehicle matched to quite turgid tracks to drive on.
