Well, compared to some of the place people here are from it just gets a little colder - but I'm a confirmed wet weather wimp.

Sydney really only gets cool for about 2-3 months. The coolest I've ever seen it here overnight is 5-6 degrees C. Pretty rare for days to get below 15-16 deg C.

If you've got a decent wetsuit you can surf all the way through - actually, the surf's usually pretty good through winter here, and the beaches are less crowded. I run a 2mm full length steamer, and that's heaps.

Feh. That's not winter. :Poke:

M5Power: thanks! :)

REALLY hot in Miami today. And not only was it hot, it was also humid and rainy, all in one day.

Mmm - 24c during the day, 21c-22c in the evening (so you can have barbies), and 16c when I sleep.

If I can 'set-and-forget' the temp in my car, why not in my life?!?

It's finally getting warm up here. For some reason this year the weather refused to get warm (on a steady basis) until just a couple of weeks ago.

Have you any idea how sanity-threatening a flurry forecast is in mid-May? :weird:

 Hey rising 2 weeks ago we had snow, and freezing rain.
Makes you want to move to Austrailia for some of that 50*F "winter" eh. I was working at Mosport Raceway and they thought they would have to cancel the race day. All the TransAm cars were covered in frost(no defrosters  ) . The day turned out O.K. Good racing too!!

Well, yeah. A Canadian I can take seriously on the subject of winter. Particularly if they live in mid-western Canada...they have similar weather to North Dakota and Montana, only colder! :ice:

I know, I should quit b*tchin' and move to a warmer clime...I wonder what moving costs to Australia would look like... :bigeye:
