@ kart.no.38 - you seem to live in a rich place in South Africa :)
Sweet cars!

Nah, it is/was holidays here so all the big boys from overseas come out to play!

There is a place called camps bay, just chill there for about 2hrs having lunch on a sunday and you will see all the cars I see.

Thats where 90% of my pics come from.

I sat in a Ford GT last month and saw a GT2 today--thay guy in the pic was it's owner--nice guy he let me sit in it but I didn't want to take a pic of the inside infront of him--that would of seemed childish. He didn't see me snap those 2 shots of the exterior. Only thing is the wing was carbon fiber--which is ok but it wasn't painted the same color as the body. Oh and it sounded super sexy when he took off. I saw an F430 yesterday but who cares it's just a normal Ferrari--nothing special.

hey everyone, i went to liverpoolfc's football stadium on new year's eve, and this is what i saw in the players car park:

bentley continental gt, dubious colour though;

here's fernand omorientes' porsche 911 turbo;

this is a db9 which flew past me on the motorway, my dad floored it and caught up, he opened the window next to the it and the roar of that v12 at we heard at 100mph is just an awesome sound!;

here's a maserati that we overtook on the motorway, on the same journey as the db9 above, its a bad photo coz i had the wrong flash setting on, sorry!

this is another bentley gt which was parked next to a wall, my dad took the shot because he could get a better angle (he's taller that me) its still a rubbish photo but it was the best we could do;

oh yeah, sorry about the huge photos, i resized them wrong, hope you don't mind!

The guy that owned this car needs to be shot. He wrecked the front end, bottomed out the car (the tailpipes were bent on the bottom) and of all things he uses 2 different set of wheels? Gay. Poor poor NSX. :sick:

*McLaren*
Still a lucky b*stard. I haven't seen one in ages.:indiff:

I saw 3 Porsche 911 Turbos yesterday all hauling ass on the freeway in a line racing each other...needless to say those fast ****ers prevented me from getting my phone camera fast enough--none of my friends believes me without a picture. :sly: Oh, and I also had a hard-on from all the horsepower and noise. I OBVIOUSLY couldn't catch up in my Focus--I was hitting the govenor thinking "maybe they'll shut it down and I can catch them and take some pics" ... eh nope. 2 were yellow and 1 was red and they were previous gens (before they went back to the simple circle headlights). I swear I see as many Porsche 911's as I do Corvette C6's these days.

Yeah, C6's are becoming pretty common round these parts. :odd:

The closest Chevrolet dealer says that they've got a big waiting list and that they ran out though after getting a shipment in a week ago. :lol:

I got about 3 360's and an SL55 to put up later today.

Regarding Porsches. There was a kid at out school whos parents owned 4 of them. 1 911 Turbo 1 GT2 2 Boxsters. So Everyday at school I always used to see either one of those !@#@ bastards Porsches.

Not to sound anal but i dindt know poepl lived in south Africa. Well i thought they lived in villages.

Theres villages, cities, gap towns, towns, farm lands. It is just like any other country.

There are no lions or giraffes roming around the streets. We have game reserves for that.

Its a place like any other.

The thing is that a lot of european people own houses in Cape Town, (like an Ibiza but not to that level) and they seem to bring their cars here every december.

Not only that but the amount of cars that are tested and released here is quite a bit.... Cayenne, Caymans, SLR's, the New ferrari 600, the enzo, the buggaties, the Audi Le Mans, the Audi Nuvalari. Hell you name it and it has probably been here.

There are also quite a few South Africans who own super cars. At our race track I know someone who owns an F430 conv, another who owns a 360, Continental GT, helicopters and Boats.

There is plenty here :sly:

I will be putting pics of the NEW jag XJ up on Monday. They had the world press launch at our local race track today.

The thing sounds crazy and look the business. I couldn't get great pics but tomorow when I go back to the track I will try and get some interior photos and mingle with the journalists. Maybe even get a lift!?

that'd be nice, i should have my next liverpool fc car park installment on the 20th february, and the cars i see on the motorway on the way there and back will be posted aswell

Not only do I have pics of the new XJ but I now have pics of the New Ferrari 600 which was being privately tested in S.A, there weren't even badges on the thing, the lights are also slightly taped up but you can see for miles that it is a Ferrari.

Cool 👍, is that your dads that he picked up?
Yeah, only driven It once yet. I wont be able to really test it out untill it wears in a bit (limited to 5000rpms) and the summer rims and tires get put back on.

I might make a thread when I can get some daytime pics and vids:tup:
