The five cars that you DO NOT want in GT6.

But the X1 wasn't even in GT5.
I do not want to not want to see any 20,000,000 cars you can't win in GT6.

If you're going to be pedantic then it was originally called the Redbull X1 but renamed to Redbull X2010 and then the newer Redbull X2011. If we do get an apperance then I'll assume it'll be the X20 "12" or "13"

Correct. I hate it when people call it the X1.

Fair enough then, a few were more my personal opinion. Like I said though, if you want to add the real dupes that I missed feel free.

134, unless I screwed up somewhere. A distressing amount of them with incorrect performance, because PD didn't bother to do anything beyond Copy-Paste. And that's being very generous in spots, for the most part leaving out year and trim variations except the particularly blatant ones (plus leaving out a couple 350Zs, where I can't really any info regarding whether PD didn't just make the things up like they did the Miatas). Someone who knows more about what Honda did to the S2000 and NSX or Nissan to the Skyline over the years can probably comment on them more definitively, and it would probably drive things up quite a bit (150+?).

Correct. I hate it when people call it the X1.
That's too bad, because this:
But the X1 wasn't even in GT5.
Is incorrect. If people want to call it the X1, you're going to just have to deal with it. Or, at the very least if you feel you must needlessly correct them, at least do it in a way that is actually true; because the car was very much called the X1 for the entirety of its development and a good while after GT5's release.

If you don't like X1s, don't use them. It's that simple. There's people that use and like X1s; people shouldn't suffer because others don't like car.

Inversely, people who don't like the car shouldn't suffer because some poeple do and enjoy ruining everybody's day with it.

The inclusion of the X1 doesn't lead to this at all, especially with room restrictions.

Your analogy isn't even comparable. Removing the X1 limits options and gameplay. Including it does not because including it lets people choose to interact with the car or not. The opposite of removing the X1 is not allowing it, the opposite would be forcing to people to race it or race against it, and that is just as bad as removing it.

The neutral, everyone wins option, is just to put it in the game as it is in GT5.

I have to ask again how the X1 can cause problems when it can already be banned from a room in multiple ways. HP, PP, weight, drivetrain, and other things. If you run into one in GT5, it's your own fault.

I'd rather like that "importing" old cars as 'standart' cars than wiping them from game.
But i wanna see all "NEW" cars as Premium! (as example - veyron!)
And maybe not too much Skyline's...Miata's...
I can suggest an option to "Modify" Miata to any production year and tune(and not filling UCD list).
So just get MORE NEW cars, without kikckin' old good cars.

I'd like to see the original Subaru 360 replaced with the one that was in GT2. (Young SS I think)

I only want classics and icons to come back as prems, bin the other standards past 80's

That is the most absurd thing I've heard. So you're going to "bin" some of the most iconic cars from the 80s and 90s....makes no sense.

I said keep Classics and Icons but bin the useless cars that no one drives or wants.anything post '80 might be worth a drive but before....nope

You have no idea how much of a minority you're in with this opinion.

Honda N360, Fiat 500L, Mazda Carol, Subaru 360, any Daihatsu..... you want these or use that space for better cars???

EDIT: Bus can stay, Beetle can stay plus a fair few more. Never said all, just majority

X2010 & X2011 (The Real Driving Simulator?)
Skylines (10 would be fine)
MX-5s (5-7 would be fine)
Tank Car (Useless)
Kubelwagen & Schwimmwagen (Waste of premiums)

How does one achieve 100% without doing the challenge?
Simon is obviously saying that you don't need to do the Vettel challenge to continue on playing the game normally. It's not like a brick wall that you must get through. But yes, you do need to do it if you want 100% in the game.

Daihatsu MOVE SR-XX 2WD '97
- It's 2WD while the other is 4WD, should stay.
Daihatsu SIRION CX 2WD (J) '98
Daihatsu STORIA CX 2WD '98
Sirion in Japan/Storia in EU/USA, having one would do.

Fiat 500 F '65
Fiat 500 R '72

Lexus GS 300 Vertex Edition (J) '00
- It's a Vertex, and there's only one of them, as far as I know

Lexus SC 430 (US) '01
- It has different lights than the (J).

- Is there any duplicate or an even likely Esprit?

Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren (19inch Wheel Option) '09
- The standard SLR is from another year, but yep, one is enough

MINI COOPER '02
- It's the only none Cooper S! And the first 'new' Cooper under BMW.
Nissan PRIMERA 20V (EU) '01
- There is a JDM Version? Then I agree.
Subaru LEGACY B4 2.0GT spec.B '03
Subaru LEGACY Touring Wagon 2.0GT spec.B '03
- Those are different from any othe Legacy. They are different in performance. Wich do you consider as likely?
Toyota ARISTO V300 Vertex Edition '00
- this one's totally different from the normal Aristo! And a beloved Drift car.

Vauxhall Astra Super Touring Car '00
Vauxhall VX220 Turbo '00
- I agree on the Astra but I really wonder why you choose the VX220 Turbo over the other non-existing Race Car, the Calibra Super Touring Car. The VX220 has different transmission and spring rates to the Opel Speedster Turbo, btw all the Vauxhall Road Cars differ in performance to their Opel equivalents.

Oh, and I personally wouldn't want the following cars in GT6:

- Tank Car
- I-Miev
- PT Cruiser
- Hyundai Clix
- Hyundai HCD

Toronado's list is better on the previous page as he put more time into but just to cover a couple of things:

- The Lexus and Toyota have two identical models except they're Vertex. Either keep both the Vertex or both the standard, we don't need both. The only difference as far as I can see is the interior trim being better on the Vertex.

- The RX-7 are dupes, the only difference is the efini name. So again, keep one set or the other, not both.

- The Primera yes there are two

S Nissan PRIMERA 20V ’01
S Nissan PRIMERA 20V (EU) ’01

- As for the Legacys

S Subaru LEGACY B4 2.0GT ’03
S Subaru LEGACY B4 2.0GT spec.B ’03

S Subaru LEGACY Touring Wagon 2.0GT ’03
S Subaru LEGACY Touring Wagon 2.0GT spec.B ’03

Again we don't need both, just keep the originals or the spec B versions. Nobody is going to cry about missing one set.

- As for the VX220:

S Vauxhall VX220 ’00
S Vauxhall VX220 Turbo ’00

Slap a turbo on the original version, hey presto. If GT included all of the turbo and non-turbo versions of cars we'd have 3000 cars or more.
