...I think most of the current F1 tracks run clockwise.Left turns tend to happen predominantly when a track is ran in a counter-clockwise direction, which is all but a few F1 tracks.

I think Russia and the U.S. are the only counter clockwise tracks.
Also, I realize that majority of tracks will have more rights than lefts, or lefts than rights, depending on the direction....but most circuits manage to get a bit more balance between left and right turns. Granted, it's trickier get that balance on a street course as opposed to a purpose built circuit.
