Mikuru was probably the closest and was probably my favourite, but no cigar. I think she needed more of an involvement into the story itself, I somehow think that's what was missing.
 
Mikuru was the lamest character of the five.

Kyon is still dope, he should be the one character to like, sorry Jon.

Koizumi is about up there, he could be the one pulling the strings and always irritating Kyon.

Another episode 4 made it go from a 5/10 to a 6/10. It's no longer in danger of being dropped for now.

Started Clannad After Story by marathoning disc 1 (Contains episodes 1-6) of Clannad After Story: Collection 1 (I was bored, and had a lot of time on my hands.). So far, Clannad>After Story. Also, dat opening.:drool:

LMAO, oh Shana, you can't even make the news on ANN by making the Oricon charts with sales like this (Neither volume 1 or volume 2 made the DVD or BD charts that appear every week on ANN via Oricon.).:lol:JC Staff is going to be seriously hurting from this project. If any of their many anime that premiered this season bomb in sales (Sell under 3,000 per volume.), they may start to have problems as recovering from Shana will take a while (As they will need R1 sales of Shana III in this case to help recover financially from the loss for Shana III.).

Shana III – Oh Shana. You at one time made JC Staff very happy. For your two previous seasons both sold around 10k copies each. But the third season is going to be the biggest bomb of the fall season. It’s going to have to struggle to even sell 3k copies, and even then JC Staff would still lose a lot of money. Otaku are not happy at all with the 3rd season, and if you have read any of the Shana III blogs on this site then you know that I am not happy with it either.

Bahahahaha. Everyone says After Story > 1st Season and you know this. If it ain't clicking for you just yet, that probably means you haven't reached the climax and could at least reserve judgment for later.
 
I've actually heard "Clannad>Clannad After Story" before IIRC. The person though puts Air up at the top of the Key anime, and Clannad at the lowest.

He's trying to bait people, obviously. It's too soon to reserve judgement. After Story is infinitely better. It turns a harem story into a story about growing up and living.

It's a harem story? You're saying this to a guy who has seen a couple harems, and is a fan of the genre? Harems have 3 or more girls after one guy. That isn't the case in Clannad.

Also I'm saying "Clannad>After Story" after just six episodes. That's what my thoughts are so far. It can change. I'm only 1/4 of the way through the show.
 
And his friend Sunohara is his playtoy, and falls for his traps 99.99% of the time.
 
I just noticed this with the Fate/Zero box set, not only does the cover have all the servants (I learned this weeks to months ago.), but all 7 discs (2 CDs+5 BDs) have them. The white I must say does a really good job of bringing out the quality of the packaging.

The second box probably will have all the masters, have them on the discs, and will be black.

Clannad does have 5 girls going after Tomoya. Ryou, Kyou, Kotomi, Tomoyo, and of course Nagisa. It's just not obvious. It is based off a visual novel after all. Just keep in mind there are OVAs for Kyou and Tomoyos routes from the game.

Your judgement on After Story will change forever when you get around episode 18 or so.

The ending will be a little confusing because you haven't played the game, but to keep it spoiler free, pay extra special attention to the robot and the light orbs.
