Streaming sucks. :sly:

I mean yeah, it's kinda fun. But if I seriously want to watch a show, I'd prefer to watch it without chatting.

Plus... it's hard forcing myself to watch shows that I'm less interested in than the ones I'm watching by myself. So, yeah. :p
 
TGAT's Homometer just went up a notch.

Is there really a need for a stream today? There's like only 3 watchers right now.

From my point of view, the main point of streams is to watch the same shows at the same time. Presumably so we have something we have in common we can talk about here on TGAT. That's missing the point? If so, please inform me of the point of the streams...

There's also chat functionality on the streaming site which isn't the main point of streaming, but is something I find distracting. If I don't post anything at all people will think I'm dead or otherwise not really paying attention to the stream, but I'd rather provide my undivided attention to a show if it's something I'm interested in watching.
 
Streams with these guys is actually chatting. The anime is merely there to provide the subject, sometimes not even that :lol:

But that's what make it fun really.
 
Oh the good times when I was present and Chobits was streaming :lol: I'm a no-show now and I regret it.

If it's an anime I seriously want to watch, then I'd rather not be distracted by chat. So if i'm gonna chat, it must be an about a random anime I have little/no interest in actually watching. And that just doesn't appeal to me much. TGAT alone satisfies my needs for discussing anime, thanks. And if I'm going to spend 30+ minutes of my life watching anime, it's going to be anime I'm actually interested in seeing. :p

For the sake of a social experiment, we should watch like a horror or sappy romance.We won't enjoy the show but we would most certainly create a ton of laughter and fun memories

I'm not being stuck-up. I'm just too ADHD to devote my attention to watching anime I'm uninterested in for the sake of amusing chat about it.

I mean yeah, I spend all day on TGAT pretty much. But I bounce between it and many other things. If I did that with the stream, I'd either end up lost in the conversation or forget that I even have the stream open. :p
