Is it me, or has this thread the past few days been moving at a pace very similar to Dragon Ball Z?

GC has COPYCAT written all over it...
Fixed.

A Vocaloid Eva pilot? Meh, I've seen worse.

To be fair, Guilty Crown stops being really similar to Code Geass in the second half. The only similarity really in the second half is how the Japanese are still oppressed by some other country.

And oppression isn't particularly original anyway. Good thing the second half is much more serious than the first half, I'm enjoying it.

Well K-On! fans, you have something to look forward to. Sentai Filmworks just got K-On!! (Second Season), and it seems the dub cast from season 1 will return. They're now going to deal with K-On! from now on instead of Bandai Entertainment. Expect them to rescue K-On! whenever Bandai Entertainment's license expires.
The North American anime licensing company Sentai Filmworks announced on Monday that it licensed the second season of the K-ON!! television anime series. The 26-episode anime sequel and the accompanying OVA will be available on DVD and Blu-ray Disc later this year. Sentai Filmworks is collaborating with Bang Zoom! Entertainment on the dub.

Based on kakifly's four-panel comedy manga, the second television anime series about high school girls who form a rock band, premiered in April 2010. The series topped sales charts when its Blu-ray Discs shipped in Japan last year, and K-ON! became the first television animation franchise to sell over 500,000 Blu-ray Discs on Oricon's sales chart.

The North American anime distributor Bandai Entertainment licensed and released the first K-ON! television anime season in 2011 before it stopped releasing new titles this month.

The K-ON! film sequel premiered in Japan on December 3, and the film earned US$21,419,792 at the Japanese box office by February 5.

You can hardly be original these days in anime when so many things have been done already.

As for the second half vs. the first half, I personally think the first half was better.

I recently had a discussion with one of my MAL friends on the many problems the second half has. You can see it on my MAL profile.

Yeah, I read that. And aside from
Shadowy motives not being clear and Gai coming back being stupid
I disagree. So please, TC, enlighten me as to why the first half is better. The first half lacked character motive and progression, now
Shu has to deal with his own uprising among his fellow students. The result of cruel decisions and keeping void-death a secret, Inori's own inner monster and the loss of his guilty crown.

Not to mention:

As previously alluded to, the burden of two deaths (mostly Hare's) being on his shoulders, arguably three with Gai. Which is clearly his motivation as seen in 17.

Oh yeah, Hare's death was an excellent turning point for Shu's character. The death of a loved one is never easy... and Souta still had the nerve to turn on him because of his change.

🤬 you Souta.

Guilty Crown is better than ever.

Haaahhhh

If it wasn't Miku, it's Kagamines or Luka...

Why no Gumi or IA? ;)

And no, Guilty Crown isn't better than ever. Recent episodes were pretty dumb, I got hyped and excited but it still is pretty dumb despite how much I cheer it on.

GOD.... Yukiteru is a DUMBASS... I know its my opinion, but damn... dont tell people your secrets...

Nvm... Everyones in on it

It's not your opinion, it's written in stone.

Wow Denpa 13 is all moe-service.... Cyuushi, get on it. Make sure you don't let yourself go on it or else your grin will get stuck in place.

...I can't stand most Len songs... I can't get over his voice when he's alone :P.

...and aww I was planning to watch Guilty Crown (I thought it looked pretty nice, oh and the Tsugumi), but it sounds to be a bit over-hyped from what I am hearing here.
