You should have at least one friend that says a catch phrase all.the.time. After a while it gets annoying, same thing going on here.

Nobody I know has a catch phrase. Every single person I've met in my entire life hasn't really had one whatsoever.

I'm begining to notice you like most of what's bad about anime. The stupid, annoying characters, the stupid phrases, the idiotic comedy, all the stuff that seems to break shows for everyone else you find "awesome". I almost want to block you, but that would take about half the fun off from posting in here.

Probably not like that, but I've got this habit of saying things like "Twelve trillion" when saying a large number (I've got twelve trillion mosquito bites on me.) I'll also say something like "quite" to agree with someone, or I'll use the term "spectacularly unethical."

Little things.

I wasn't annoyed by Tutturu as it was her own way of greeting others, which was the only redeeming quality she had for me. What I hate about Mayuri is her dopey care-free innocence, making judgements based off unexplainable feelings, and silly beliefs like reaching for the sun, and trying to be useful when she has no grasp on the situation.

Translation: she's freaking annoying.

I LOVED her Tutturu! How can anyone possibly not like it?

Because it's stupid. That compilation video shows it lol.

Anyways, time to catch up on shows today. I am so far behind.

You know who's more annoying? Tachibana Misato.

I hate her guts and she shouldn't have even been in Nichijou in the first place.

I can at least find some sort of amusement out of Mayuri, but I die a little inside when people make bland characters like Misato.

The moe-obligatory tsundere....... the one with all the guns and RPGs who fires it at the rich boy with glasses whenever she is embarrassed.

He's not. She was freaking annoying, all the freaking time. The worse character in the entire show by far, FAAAAR.

Nah, she's better than Feyris. Tuturu > Nya~.> Steins;Gate

Nya is moe. Tuturu is not.

Feyris is an amusing character. Sure her appearance is hella awkward, but that adds to her fun fator.

Most people like Trigun, most people like Rurouni Kenshin, most people loved Baccano! fully, mainly from Miria and Isaac, and more shows, so I don't get the idea where you feel it breaks it for everyone else when really it's just you in the minority. People that have seen Trigun, and hate on it not just because it's the popular thing to do are a minority.

Hell in here, you're pretty much the only person who has seen Trigun that hates it, and not just hate it, you hate with a massive, massive, massive passion. Also remember people getting on you for your massive hatred for Vash and Trigun on ARM?

So really you should have worded it like "breaks shows for people like me".

The moe-obligatory tsundere....... the one with all the guns and RPGs who fires it at the rich boy with glasses whenever she is embarrassed.

Ah yes, pretty pointless. She could have been way better, or even more used.

DK
Nah, she's better than Feyris. Tuturu > Nya~.> Steins;Gate

But Feyris is designed, inside the show, to be that way. I mean, Feyris is a character within a character, and the character inside the show has to play moe, so it is absolutely justified. Nothing, on the other hand, justifies Mayuri's idiocy.

Most people like Trigun, most people like Rurouni Kenshin, most people loved Baccano! fully, mainly from Miria and Isaac, and more shows, so I don't get the idea where you feel it breaks it for everyone else when really it's just you in the minority. Most people here haven't even watched Kenshin, and won't watch it because idiot, thank God. Most people here love Baccano! because of soemthing else than those two idiots, as even Sephy accounted for some pages ago, and that's saying something. And yes, hating on a 1998 show is the absolute popular thing to do.

For geeting into your "people think" point of view, the only one you ever seem to have because you can't make a point by yourself, I do know people that freaking hated Trigun when it aired in here because of what I have been saying for the best part of 6 months now. Heck my brother can't see him and he is very good with annoying characters, he managed to watch Now and then Here and there without complaining too much about the idiot protagonist, and that is saying a lot too.

I love how even when you try to make a point with what people think, you get it all wrong.

Most people here haven't even watched Kenshin, and won't watch it because idiot, thank God.
Because...
1. It's Shonen.
2. It's 95 episodes.
3. Season 3 is all filler.
4. Fillers found all over season 1.
5. Did I forget to mention that filler?

That's pretty much it. If you didn't already know, this place has a negative bias towards Shonen, especially long-running series. I don't expect many here to touch Katekyo Hitman Reborn!, Soul Eater, Gintama, Hunter x Hunter, Rurouni Kenshin, Toriko, and so many other Shonen titles.

The only Shonens that get watched here are Death Note, and the Fullmetal Alchemist series, that's it.

Though he never went into it. He merely stated that he felt Miria and Isaac were a little overly done, and nothing else.

Yes many loved Baccano! for reasons other than those two, including me, though they helped really make the show for me, and so many other people. Everyone I've ran into loves Baccano!, and what pops up on their favorite character lists pretty much every time? Miria and Isaac, they're pretty popular characters.

Also the fact Trigun is from 1998 is irrelevant here. I was excluding those who hate the show just because it's popular. Ever heard of hating on something you haven't seen just because it's popular? It happens every day. People hate on Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, D. Gray-man, Toriko, Nurarihyon no Mago, Beelzebub, Katekyo Hitman Reborn!, InuYasha, and more shows they haven't seen merely because they're popular, and can't stand the fanbases.

If they weren't popular, there would be less hate for those series. Once they go into the limelight, the haters come out.

I've been on LOTS of anime forums (And I'm referring to ones that aren't dedicated to a single series), and every single one had lots of people who like Trigun and Rurouni Kenshin (TV-they despise Reflection). Many said I should be ashamed at how I hadn't watched Trigun.

For IRL, one of my friends really loved Trigun, and got on me when I put the show on-hold (Due to episodes 5-26 for the dub coming down from Hulu, and me wanting to watch it dubbed first).

Then there's Twitter...People were going wild, and loving the fact Trigun was airing on Toonami back when it popped up again as an April Fools joke. The show trended, along with Vash.

Trigun is quite popular here. So much so Madhouse went insane and made the movie, despite the fact they knew it would bomb REALLY hard in Japan like the first series, but knew it would do quite well here because of how popular the series still is here because A LOT of people love it.

This is pretty much the first and only place (Other than ARM which is practically an extension of this thread now) I've encountered someone who didn't like Trigun. It's very, very hard for me to find people that don't like Trigun.

The moe-obligatory tsundere....... the one with all the guns and RPGs who fires it at the rich boy with glasses whenever she is embarrassed.

That sounds awesome.

Actually, Cano, you're the only one I know who hates Trigun. I am not making that up. It's cool if you don't like it. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but Trigun is awesome. Fact. I still love you though. <3

This entire "everyone loves Trigun" arguing is idiotic, because we all know a show is good if everyone likes it. Specially people in anime forums who, what a surprise, are all-out otakus that, in most cases, will watch everything that crosses their paths and are 13 episodes from watching 5000 anime epis... er, wait.

Again, I don't 🤬 care what the internet says about Trigun, stop bringing out the "people like it" point, it is absolutely nill.

Also, this place here doesn't have a bias against ANYTHING, neither ARM. They are against stuff that sucks, and even then some people will watch such stuff. Oh, and there's also you.

EDIT: Ok Seph, Trigun is awesome. Why?

also, does Vash makes it awesome? Do you think it would be better if Vash wasn't there, or was a completely different kind of character? I have said it before, Trigun had so much potential, ruined by it's main character...

I wasn't talking about the internet. I don't know what the internet likes. I was referring to people I actually know, unlike TC.

Which still falls under "I don't know anyone who doesn't like it."

It's showing that the majority out there loves it, and finds it good. Contrary to your belief that everyone hates Trigun, it's a fact that it sucks, and deserves nothing more than a 0/10.

Also many of the people who have watched Trigun are the people who have seen WAY less anime than I have. Pretty much everyone I know who has seen the show has seen less anime than me, or I'm nearly about to surpass them in time spent on this stuff.

I don't know many all-out otaku who will watch everything aside from this guy who BTW considers 90% of anime to be complete 🤬 (Following Sturgeon's Law). He's seen around half the anime out there as according to this, without hentai (As AP doesn't have entries for hentai), there's 75000+ episodes of anime out there. Oh how much you two would argue if you came into contact with each other...

It's showing however it's not everyone who dislikes it. You're basically preaching "Trigun sucks, it's a fact and EVERYONE hates it!".

Also I did bring in an IRL example. There's NO ONE I know IRL who watches anime that hates Trigun. But oh wait, "That's just YOUR friends who have the same **** taste in anime as you, so the point is completely null!", so my arguments are always completely null and void no matter what I say!

That statement right there has bias written all over it.

Saying something sucks prior to having watched it is having bias. So you have a negative bias towards stuff you haven't even watched, stuff like say Katekyo Hitman Reborn! and Hunter x Hunter for example.

Also we already have members who go "If it's a long-running Shonen, it's basically 🤬 you." which equates to "It sucks.".

Hmmm, just saw a Cano response here...

Yeah, been away, yes, busy, but also a self imposed absence after my drunken abuse of that one guy.

Recently rewatched ID and WM for like the 5th times each.

Just wanted to say again, I love Kenshin, yes idiotic, but for the relationships, very nice, that's what I like most in anime. Trigun was fun but not great, and yes, the protagonist is also an idiot. But then again, so am I sometimes (=frequently...) Also Gintama (RIP) also rife with idiotes.

That sounds awesome.

I guessing I'm too easy to forget then? Doesn't make sense since I'm a type of otaku you guys helped me make up, a 'moetaku'.

Actually, as long as I've posted, and so will check back at least for a little while, I mine as well ask.

Been uninspired recently, but would like to find something else to watch. Though I almost feel like my grand anime adventure has exhausted itself, I've seen so much.

Anyways, here's the link to my ann list, anything not on here that's in anybody's personal favorites you think I should check out?

I actually recently found something called Cat Planet Cuties. It is... interesting, to say the least. Sure, it's in a genre I don't usually watch, but it has a fair balance of stuff.

Your rating system is actually worse than TC's, LMAO.

Asobi ni Iku yo! was much better than I expected it to be. I enjoyed that show.

Seriously? The only one who has any bias is you, majority of what you watch are shounen shows. You cried for KENSHIN, but not Clannad.

You also can't deny the fact that the reason we stray away from those 'popular' shows with a lot of episodes is the fact that it has a lot of episodes. Why would I watch 52 episodes of a series, and not get an ending, when I could watch four 13 episode series and be satisfied? It's like preferring blue balls over 4 really good BJs.

And it's like you have some kind of personal vendetta against anything that you don't agree with. You seriously need to take a chill pill and not write walls of broken logic.

Yes, you're missing EVERYTHING!!! Your list is too short bro!:grumpy:

Serious (Just stuff that quickly comes to my mind): I'd try The Tatami Galaxy. Started it recently finally (I've heard nothing but amazing, really amazing things about it), and I must say that artwork and animation is REALLY awesome. Some of the best I've seen. The story and characters can be confusing, but 3 episodes in, I can tell it will probably go somewhere. I've heard everything does make sense in the end.

Secondly, Fate/Zero. Pretty freaking awesome with its characters, and all the various events that happen in the prequel to Fate/stay night. 'Nuff said.

Also if you don't mind Shonen, and feel like watching a long show, I'd recommend Katekyo Hitman Reborn! (203 episodes+1 OVA). I must warn you though, the first 20 episodes can be an uphill battle for most people as it follows a daily life arc, and unfortunately, skipping them can lead to you being lost, so they're episodes that must be seen to understand much of the show. It's where most people dropped the show, but once you got to the stuff seen here, the plot started to thicken and advance.

Though unfortunately, the daily life arc comes in at various places after that, and you get some filler during the arc I'm currently watching, the future arc (Starts at like episode 75) which can be frustrating when you're really wanting something to happen, and want the plot to advance. But the canon stuff outweighs that.

Lastly, Hunter x Hunter (2011), quite the interesting show that always brings out great surprises. Can be a little childish (Must be the broadcast regulations these days for the slot it has...), but still a really good show with its compelling characters. If you hate thinking, this show will frustrate as it wants you to think about what's going to happen, or what is the correct way to do something.

TC, you keep bringing up that show with the kid that has fire in his hair. Your comments are invalid.
