Parodies artificial food. Think I've reposted it before.

The second anime to be mentioned in my signature.

I see. I had a gut feeling it was the movie, but then I was thinking it was impossible to have seen it a few months ago. I forget about the series now. I think I was a little let down upon a rewatch.

Are you talking about Madoka? I was still blown away by the series on my last rewatch. Don't plan on viewing the movies, though.

Also, TC, I like K-ON!.

View attachment 96456 Is this a NGE reference, from the final Ginama movie... or if not, I'm sure it's a reference to something...

Looks like an EVA reference to me.
Arms hunched over with blood covered face, can't help but feel like Asuka is just outside the picture on that one.

You know that moment when you watched something a few months ago, liked it, but weren't blown away, rewatch it, and then a few days later you're weeping so hard that you can't get to sleep as a result...

That's happening to me...

God damnit Homura.

That happened to me with Code Geass, oddly enough. First time I got about six episodes in, couldn't see what all the fuss was about and gave up. Second time I was hooked more or less start to finish.

@Sephy, Unsure why'd you want to skip what literally is the sequel to the series.

Because the series ended beautifully and doesn't need a sequel in my opinion. I don't see how it could made any better. It's only being done because it's a cash cow anyway.

Of course I could be completely wrong and judging by the reactions of those of you who have seen the movies I am wrong, however it's just what I think. I may get around to watching them one day but they aren't a priority.

Yeah, my problem with the idea of watching Rebellion is the same as @Sephy, although I still REALLY want to see it. But I had that problem with the End of Evangelion, where the original TV ending was just so magnificent (admittedly in a very different way to Madoka Magica's*), that I had difficulty enjoying or accepting EOE, although in retrospect I prefer EOE's ending.

Also, considering my reaction to Homura's story, part of me worries that watching Rebellion might result in me having to get counselling...

*The original TV ending left me laughing for roughly 8 hours, non-stop, after watching it, the last three episodes of Madoka Magica had a delayed reaction of sending me into tears for roughly the same period of time a couple of days after rewatching.

I am pretty anxious to watch Rebellion, but I'll wait until I get to see it at a movie theater.

For the record, I too think like Seph. Madoka's ending was incredibly solid and I personally can't fathom how a sequel could be good for it, but again, judging by the reactions of ´people that have watched it, it seems I'm gonna be proven wrong. Gladly.

So, I just reverse-Googled Sephy's new avvy, and...

...what the 🤬 is up with Asuka's boobs?

Understandable, but unlike anticipation for a sequel to be made, Rebellion is already in existence. May as well go see it to satisfy curiousity.

I keep saying Psycho Pass doesn't need a sequel, but they're likely going to make one anyway, and hence I'll likely watch that anyway.

Psycho Pass will have a second season + movie.

But why doesn't Psycho-Pass need a sequel? Psycho-Pass was probably the best anime of last year. And besides that, Psycho-Pass Universe is so rich, that's need to be explored.

Same reason as earlier topic: Plot closed just fine. Conflict has been resolved; struggle with antagonist has been resolved. There's no loose ends that seem to need to be addressed. All that seems to have going for it now is a whole different branch of the world.

Madoka leaves you with a possibility of a new conflict in episode 12, which is why I was willing to watch the film to see what may happen next.

I don't know what the full picture looks like. What is wrong with them?

Yeah, with things like this, the only conclusion I can reach is "because anime."

I think the big difference with Rebellion is that the storyline is Homura centric. It did take me the 2 watches to understand everything though since so much mind**** happens.

I like the way Rebellion ends more than the TV series. It made the cosplaying girls in the theater cry, so you know it's freakin' amazing.

I think I prefer the TV series ending, which I feel is a lot tighter, but Rebellion's okay too.

I have a question for those who watched Madoka Rebellion.
Did you guys watch Rebellion movie in CAMrip or BD/DVDrip ?
Obviously a camrip, or if they're extremely, extremely, extremely lucky, a theater. (Why they're lucky below)
http://www.madokamagicausa.com/rebellion/

An idea of how lucky for the US at least (Too lazy to do Canada): 48 theaters spread across 25 states, with most states receiving only one single screening.

The DVD/BD isn't going to be out for like another 6 months or something.
Is it time for Pupa yet?
That's tomorrow.

Thanks.
I saw, some people here talking about Madoka Rebellion, so I thought maybe the DVD/BD version had already been released. 6 months? Then Madoka Rebellion will be released at the same time as Persona 3 first movie.

The waiting time for BD's/DVD's for anime movies can be quite a while.

See for yourself:

It just seems like the artist spent more time on the boobs than the rest of her.

You could say say the same about SAO but they'll be a second season aswell.
