Last I recall, bathing suits are fine. Underwear slips, namely upskirts which the fanbase is notorious for, are pushing it. I'd go to ARM for everything else. I remember you signed up there one time and did nothing. You're missing out.

... I completely forgot I'd registered there. ;_; I should really have posted there, too; could you give me the link again? I'd like to check it out some more. :)

Thats about right.
Think of it like they do in the daily babe thread... The rules for a public swim pool.

To make things crystal clear...

Key to that is in bullet point 5 using the word obscene (which in itself can be tough to define).

So please do me a favor and send me more spoilers in private or something along those lines.
I need to know where the series goes from that point. Hard to imagine anything is possible but then again, that pretty much shows anything IS possible.
Thanks for any help and spoilers.

I sense someone here really liked Symphony Regalia Final Movement. :p

Supreme War Regalia in general looked boss. A nod to Nudist Beach but with most of the usual bells and whistles of a 3-star uniform, which makes sense. Kouketsu on the other hand is the sort of bat:censored: crazy Kamui a final boss should be fit to wear.

Homura was standing there, Kyubey dead in her hands, when she turned around and whispered.

"You just lost the game, biyatch."

Dude.

White text.

If you quote this, it should be visible in the BB code editor, if you can't work out how to use it.

I'm a bit late for this but ...

After seeing the 25 top anime list from IGN, and the looking for better top tenting (like this one) I could not stop thinking about what could be consider the best anime character, not the most popular or my favourite, but the best all around. It cannot be stereotypical or follow a normal set of tropes for it. Spike Spiegel got up there with no problem, so did Haruhi, and maybe Yagami Light.

In my opinion however Lain Iwakura gets the cake, is the most complex and the most interesting to look at (parting from what happens in Lain's story), she follows a particular trope, however is executed in a compelling way, and is not a plain character, is a reactive character, far more reactive and deeper than Shinji (or Asuka, which is far more interesting than Shinki, same can be said about Misato), is not cartoon-ish, something that threw Kensin from my list, as well as other characters I considered.

Bit off topic with whichever conversation was going on, but ... the more I see the new anime lists and schedules I just feel a bit underwhelmed by it.

Is either a shonen, or a high school drama, or something else. I miss stuff like Monster's Johan Liebert, or Tetsuo, or ... characters that have that sense of awe and shock like when Heath Ledger played The Joker. there is a stereotype embed to it but the execution showcased a unique aspect and nature from the character from a realistic perspective, I've been waiting years for something like that to happen .. but it doesn't come, and by the way anime is formed now is really hard to conceive something like that happening any time soon.

Homura Akemi is my favourite anime character.* I personally found her story to be very moving, which is remarkable as I usually view fictional characters from an altogether sociopathic perspective and of course she's a complete and utter badass. The reason for this, of course, can largely be put down to the amount of attention to detail put into her development, with even minor details of her actions often revealing a lot more about her than might immediately meet the eye. Also, I appreciated the fact that she completely went against stereotypes of gay women on screen. Her character was not defined by her sexuality any more than any other part of her personality, she was not included as some sort of running joke for the audience to laugh at, and she was not in any way sexualised for the male gaze in the way that gay women so often are.

I remember that after I first watched Serial Experiments Lain, I felt that the show was incredible; however, I find that it has failed to stick in my memory in the same way that other works have, with my defining memories not being of characters, writing, or plot but of the show's beautiful and unique aesthetics, particularly the sound design and the lighting.

Lain is still a fascinating character, regardless. Isn't that right, @Lain?

*I have not yet seen The Rebellion Story, in case you were wondering.

@Cano. Debatable between the two for you.
edit: definitely can be debated:
1/8th or 1/7th.

UNGH!!! Deffinitely debatable. I really like how the one with Kyubey came out in color and all. But the other one sure looks bad-ass as all hell :0 I'll show the wife. Thanks for keeping us up-to date with these, dude 👍

Satsuki is very pretty

Fixed.

I don't think danbooru likes hotlinking. Try using Imgur next time.
