Finished Princess Nine. I have a new show in my top 20 anime, and the first 10/10 I've given since I finished Rose of Versailles last January.

The show was amazing from beginning to end, especially the final 10 episodes, and that finale. Highly, highly recommended.
 
FLCL is probably the most rewatchable thing I've ever... umm... rewatched. Madoka Magica and Being John Malkovich come close (possibly even beat it) for a first rewatch, but FLCL can just be rewatched over and over and over without ever really getting old.

Thisthisthis. And I think that it has to do with how FLCL is not really story-centric. It's forte is certainly not the story it tells, which is pretty straightforward... once you find it amongst all the weirdness and awesome and robots and all that. The story is fine and doesn't disappoint, but I see it as almost a mere excuse to show you everything else that happens in the show. Which is a lot and is awesome. And as such, indeed, it's never gotten old after 11 rewatches. And a 12th might be in order, merely for celebrating so many people around here that have watched it lately.

Yup, 12, here we come.
 
How cute. I'm surprised this thread hasn't like exploded over Kill la Kill art. Surely not all of it is spoiling?

Not that its all spoiling, but that a lot of it isn't exactly AUP approved. Why so many of the artists are so obsessed with the transformed Kamuis, I will never know. But I have a few kicking around, I'll post them up in a few.
 
^I just am trying to avoid spoiling it for anyone who stumbles in here, so yea.
