What's everyone watching this summer season?

Currently the only new shows I'm watching are SAO II and Glasslip. SAO because I'm a completionist and Glasslip appeared to have a good art style so I took it up without any information. Its given me some interesting surprises!

SAO II, I want to see how it compares to the light novels. I still have the TGAT List.

Tokyo Ghoul.
Terror in Resonance.

And Jojo's Bizarre Adventures.

All the cool stuff. I'm done with the soft stuff that is newly released. I highly recommend you give either of the two a try, @Downhill Dino.

I've read a bit about them and they looked pretty cool. I'd like to watch them sometime, once I finish a few other shows first. I have a queue going.

Most anime watchers have a huge queue list. I used to as well... Well, technically I still do, but I throw it on the backburner and not bother for the time being. That's partially due to me not caring about completing shows on my queue since I haven't had much time to, so I gave up on such a commitment; it wasn't worth my time and effort to prioritize on. Eventually, I forget about it and, in a way, is no longer on my list anymore... if you can think of it that way.

However, ongoing shows means there's stuff to actively discuss and speculate on with others. That's why I put all the new stuff before the old stuff.

I'm watching SAO II and Glasslip too. Also watching Terror in Resonance (like @AOS-), Tokyo ESP (superpowers), Aldnoah.Zero (Urobuchi), and a few more I can't recall right now. I also watch a few past anime.

Went to an anime con the other day with a friend. And it was pretty much what I anticipated it to be. Lots of people cosplayed AoT and SAO, but there were rare gems too. Like there was one guy in full Daedric armor from Skyrim.

The Vendors' Section was partially why I went. Sadly much of the stuff there was way pricey. I only got a wall scroll and a shirt.

Yeah this thread and some friends have really pushed me to stay with the times. I was always a couple years behind. The watching experience is a lot better with consistent discussion week after week, like you say. Kill la Kill being one of the first shows I watched whilst it was still ongoing.* I continue to forget that there's a community for this, good idea on my part to get alerts from this thread.

*One Piece doesn't count. One Piece never counts.

Watching all of these this season...

-Akame ga Kill!
-Aldnoah.Zero
-Blue Spring Ride
-Fate/kaleid liner Prisma*Illya 2wei!
-Free! Eternal Summer
-Glasslip
-Hanayamata
-Love Stage!!
-Magimoji Rurumo (God help me, this is absolutely atrocious..........)
-Momo Kyun Sword
-Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun
-Persona 4: The Golden Animation
-Rail Wars!
-Rokujouma no Shinryakusha!?
-Sabagebu!
-Sailor Moon Crystal
-Shin Strange+
-Shirogane no Ishi: Argevollen
-Space*Dandy 2
-Sword Art Online II (Help me......)
-Tokyo ESP
-Tokyo Ghoul
-Zankyou no Terror

Yeah...

Oh how I like this so much. Too much. Too very much.

Something I'd love to hear to end my day off... maybe perhaps even pretend I'm the one singing. It feels so good.

I need to frequent this thread more again.
Well, I bought all three parts of Madoka Magica, so finally I'm going to have a chance of watching it.
About time you get on that, although i bet those set you back abit.

I can relate to all of that although i have the habit of starting stuff and putting it aside for weeks before restarting it again which kinda ruins the flow of the shows abit:sly:
But now theres so many new shows coming up alot of them are going right to the queue so i end up waiting for the new episode every week while waiting for other ongoings to end so i can marathon em ..while waiting for new ongoing episodes :irked: which also means i never find time for old shows either!
Its a vicious cycle :banghead:

So anyway the only ongoing is SAO 2 which im loving the first 2 eps sofar 👍
Which means i could start Mekaku city, No game no life, or Black bullet. next
And finish Steins Gate

I'm just waiting for Hannah's Story or whatever it's called.

I'm considering giving Terror in Ressonance or whatever it's called a watch if people say it's good.

I've only been watching Soul Eater lately. Still catching up on existing Anime!
You've got quite a long ways to go then, there's thousands of anime out there. I've seen hundreds, and AniDB tells me I've seen about only 7.55% of their database...

Sometimes it amazes me how much Japan puts out.

There's a lot of people on MAL who watched more than a year's worth of anime. A few of them are still active too. Can someone explain how they manage to watch so much?

People with no lives nothing more productive to do.

You can sure bet someone who's kept occupied by their full-time job, responsibilities, committments, spouse and/or kids wouldn't have that much time to watch so much. Those who don't have to deal with any of these if not all convert that occupied time to occupy TV shows.

That or you just convert the time you use to sleep to watching shows. Most youngsters do this anyway. They trade in the time the body requires to recharge to get more stuff done every 24 hours. Short-term benefit, long-term health effects.

Absolutely this. And when they have free time they prefer to spend it in other ways.

That's pretty much how I see it. But still, that sure is a lot to watch..

A lot to watch means a lot of time spent sitting down. You may be up and about, but they do a lot of sitting everyday, like me. Full-time sitters I call it.

Except I've done less than 200 shows.

Whenever the KanColle anime comes out (ideally never, but eh) I will force myself to watch one episode of it for the sole purpose of experiencing the terror for myself once, and once only.

Other than that maybe Sao2 or as I heard on Tumblr I should watch Rail Wars for lols.

Yeah, I sit around a lot. But over time I get tired watching stuff. I guess other people can handle it better. It still baffles me how they do it, but if they like doing it, I can't argue.

I'n looking forward to that KanColle thing, not even kidding. And Rail Wars is pretty generic, to be honest. That being said, there's nothing bad about following a tried and true formula.

Please don't. It would be terrible if you got into it.

Rail Wars has an awesome sounding title, and it is of course trains. But apparently I'm supposed to stay for the chicks...what does Tumblr know though.
