Bullet Hell games often involve pattern memorization for the hardest levels, yes. And deathbombing in Touhou is helpful.

I still live with people so I can't level up just yet.

Started Kaichou wa Maid-sama, it's unusually good.

Honestly not sure how I feel about this. Season 2 got a bit messier with things, and wasn't as good as the first season (Well that one was decent at best, granted). I still liked it much of the time but.......
