Ah Hyouka, would have watched that as it aired if not for the fact there were no legal streams, and there still aren't. This is also why I haven't seen say Amagi Brilliant Park, sigh... If I see nothing come up in like the next 10 years, fansubs we go (Ugh...).

You'd be surprised of how many things I have a backlog of :/

For once I have a backlog growing now. :( Haven't watched anything other than KanColle and One Piece for over a month. So much to watch, so much I was watching.

Why does that remind me of Toradora?

Because senpai has not yet mentioned that you're about to lose your way.

Early 2015 spring stuff.

I'm hearing Shokugeki no Soma (Food Wars) is doing a good job in the ongoing manga. Don't know where this Gintama came from. I thought they finished a while ago. Another Lupin III coming out. Coolio. It's nice to see The Disappear of Nagato Yuki appear. I don't know how much I would enjoy it, but we'll see. Been a while since I watched anything Haruhi.

Other than that, the rest of this year is going to be a struggle if I'm reminded of Grisaia.

The Gintama anime has ended and returned multiple times (This is now the 4th series), for catching up to the manga (When it goes on hiatus) or because another show stole its timeslot. It's a screwy situation, last time it returned for only two cours (With re-runs of previous episodes being mixed in).

For some reason I can only access the part of my computer's hard drive where I keep the Monogatari screen caps. Is this a sign?

This thread moves too quickly for me. That's probably the reason why it's the second longest thread on the whole forum. :P

On the subject of Hyouka...
I haven't watched it but I think Chitanda is very cute. Not cute enough to merit watching it though, because she isn't voiced like Kana Hanazawa.

If you haven't noticed by now I feel that a perfect world is a world where everybody has a voice as soothing as Kana Hanazawa's.

As much as I respect Hanazawa's ability to do many voices, I don't think she could've made Chitanda into who she is had she used her one iconic voice. Having a different VA step in for the lead role was refreshing, and I felt that gave Chitanda a stronger presence compared to other similarly-designed characters.

Give it a shot. The show is very very light and slow paced. You ought to be kinarimasu. At least. :p

Same here lol.

I will definitely look at the first episode since you suggested it.

Just asking a question... Is code Geass one of those anime that cater mainly to young adult audiences? I'm tired of most modern works being aimed squarely at that demographic purely for the purpose of making money. Not that making money is a bad thing, but it's a little mundane out there now.

Young adult audiences?
Example?

...purely for the purpose of making money.
If Pizza Hut isn't something you fancy, perhaps moving on is a better idea. :p

Code Geass itself is totally great for kids. It inspires growing boys to pride themselves on conquest and teaches them how to score with the ladies. It also teaches you how far you can get in life by being a liar, and also teaches you to take responsibility for your super powers.

Dark flame master

Dude....that just reminded me of the death scissors I made back then. :(

but regardless, that is really sick! Now I want to make Dead Master's scythe.

edit: put in a request to have them make it.. or Devil May Cry's Death Scissors.

Speaking of DMC:

There's a thread on another forum just like this one. Only the pace is double this one. They move up 5 or so pages in a few hours (it's LinusTechTips forums btw).

Sword Art Online is a pretty big example. Fairy Tail and Naruto ended up falling within that category as well.

Oh well I'm still not really sure if I should watch Code Geass or not. The animation didn't seem too hot to me beacuse it's a Sunrise production in the 2000's after all :/

>Code Geass >Animation not too hot Not sure if serious........ You want not too hot of animation, go watch the original Hellsing animated by Gonzo.

Everyone is changing their avatars and I'm here hoping to have this one for at least a year.

Anyway, after stumbling upon some screenshots to the Grisaia no Kajitsu VN I've came to the conclusion it's a tad too on the pornographic side for a fellow 15 year old like me - so begrudgingly I've decided to start another anime, and wait for the two sequels in March, and for the pornographicless VN from the kickstarter to come out, in October.

And that anime is, after being convinced it's an underrated gem by @UrieHusky - Kami-sama no Memo-chō. :D

Well I'm not known for keeping avatars very long, save for places I don't visit very often.

So I'm just about to start the fourth episode of Kami-sama no Memo-chō, and I must say I'm really enjoying it. I highly recommend it, even though that's not saying much.

I do monthly. I think I changed this one either upon getting this new laptop before Christmas or at the turn of the New Year.
I might consider going non-anime for Feb though. The horror!

I didn't notice that all the avatars were changing but now that it's been brought up I might as well look for a new one as well.

Well considering that Gundam Seed was also animated by Sunrise not too long before that, I wasn't really sure of Sunrise's capabilities.

Uck.

Still better than Sailor Moon Crystal though.

Could actually be my new avatar.
