Nanisore! Trolling me, desuno?!

No, the current things I am occupying myself with are Grisaia VN and Owarimonogatari. Once I finish those, I need to get on GITS Arise.

And later maybe Lupin, Macross, or Legend of Galactic Heroes. maybe

No trolling here. Only admonishment. For the sake of discussion.

Speaking of GITS, there's an online game on Steam for it.

Shinsekai Yori.

No moe, no gratuitous Fanservice (Ok you'll see some scenes but that's it) and overall a good borderline great story. Just use max 22psi boost on your brain and you'll be fine.

Mh. I searched for it -really had no idea wtf it was. Sounds actually ok. I'll keep it in mind for when I'm actually looking for something to watch. Might take a reeeeeal while thou.

Seinfeld is best anime.

So where's the clip? I don't see it...

And reanimation, huh? Sounds like some Elder Scrolls mojo right there.
I forgot that I have a physical keyboard for this tablet...

To the point of no return?

M'calling it now.

Edit: Grisaia guys...

Did you guys ever feel it would've been interesting had Michiru's donor heart come from her friend who leaped off a building?

I felt by comparison it was kinda random to have some other character embody Michiru's....

Anyone watching Erased? It's pretty damn good..

Don't think so. Her friend would have refused because she's utterly convinced to die. Plus the landing would have most likely crushed her heart due to her rib cage collapsing inwards.

Isn't that what they did in the anime? I thought that's where the split personality came from.

But what if she landed head first? I always figured this is the most ideal way to jump to your death.

Anyway, what I wanted to mention is that doctors could have taken her organs to put into a donor place afterwards, but thinking about it, that's probably not how it works in Japan.

See, in the anime it seems to suggest that this was the case, and it sure as heck would've made some kind of sense in that regard.

But then again, her friend was pretty pessimistic to begin with. So if she took on Michiru's body, her display of lesser pessimism wouldn't make a whole lotta sense.

BTW Don't quote this post unless you intend you spoil yourself.

@AOS-

I think that would have still severely affect the heart. Then again, I'm not proficient when it comes to biology.

Yeah Japan isn't very accepting of organ donations.

Also the pessimist argument checks out here. It wouldn't be very helpful and plus her friend works external from her since it is the only real catalyst to Michiru's past.

@Techny

Recall the moment where you make the decision in Michiru's route. Here's how it went in case your long-term memory ain't up to snuff:

Michiru passes out, wakes up, tells Yuuji about her past. Yuuji later tells her to go her self checked out at the hospital. The next morning, before she sets off, you get to make two decisions:

1) Change your mind and tell her not to leave Yuuji's side.

2) Embrace her for a kiss.

Based off these two affectionate actions, how do you figure these would cause such a drastic difference in outcome?

@AOS-

I don't see your point. As far as I know the second choice was the "True" ending, whereas the other one was the "Normal" ending.

@Techny
Telling her not to leave is the good end, and the kiss is the bad end.

Considering how both decisions involve her leaving for the hospital with both routes ending in different ways, how do you imagine him hugging her telling her not to go would've been crucial in her not attempting suicide?

I have one idea in mind, but I'm curious to hear what you think.

I'm not Techny, but...

I reckon it would give the thought that there is someone out there that appreciates her for who she is. Because there's someone that actually cares for her she feels like it's selfish to go kill herself - she'd basically be doing what her friend did to her.

Okay. The anime didn't show this due to time constraints, but in the VN, Michiru grows really attached to the idea of kissing Yuuji. So with that being said, based off what you just said about people appreciating her, do you think a hug would differ much from a kiss? Maybe I'm just a shallow guy, but at face value, I think either or would been a sign of affection and care.

But to give my thoughts on the probable reason of the bad end (don't quote this for it is real spoilers):

@Techny
Michiru's bad end comes about after she gets Yuuji to kiss him before she leaves for the hospital. She decided to settle with one last kiss before committing suicide. When she makes her way, even Sachi notices she seemed to send the message that she had no intentions of returning...

And tis true, she comes back a soulless vessel.

Edit: Wait I actually got the routes backwards.
"Don't leave after all, let's stay together" was the bad end, and "how about a kiss" was actually the good end.

All this time I thought Steam screwed this up, but the Wikia confirms I was wrong.

Re: The General Anime Spoiler Thread

Means there is productivity rather than senseless pics of boobs. Zip your pants up and go play Grisaia... or finish Shinsekai!

@AOS-

I can sort of see why. To me a hug isn't intimacy - it's the signal of a friendly bond. So if Yuuji was going to simply hug her then that basically would shoot and chances of a romantic relationship with him, as its felt the powerful romantic connection is not there and therefore it's not worth living if there's no one that sees her in that way. However, for her to be kissed (I'd assume it'd be sex in the normal VN), that signifies something special between the two and that there is really a bond. Anyone can hug anybody (within reason) but kisses are hard to come by. Additionally this may push her to strive to have another kiss some day, as she hadn't had one before and was curious, but now she knows what it's like she wants more. Though, saying that, judging off the anime she didn't see all the hype of a kiss so everything I've just said could be disregarded.

I just found @TayeezSA's new favorite anime (I meant that as a joke :p). It's a magical girl anime made by Subaru. Yes, you heard me: Subaru.

Subaru also did a factory itasha of a new generation STi. For a factory job it's done really well.

Yeah, I remember I saw that a while ago, can't recall where, though. Indeed, Subaru is really in touch with the anime world.
