As I continue watching the series, I'm sensing we haven't been presented the overall direction of the story (or I just completely missed it), but it so far seems like an exploration-type of show of the dude's Return by Death ability.


I guess I'll be finding out wen I get into the second cours.

By this point, every ending always seems like it never really happens. Every bad ending almost gets rewinded. Rem is almost always involved in all the bad ends.

I just finished episode 17 and it seems pretty clear Rem's going to be gone for good this time.... and it may be for a good cause. It'll be the death Subaru needs to pick himself up.

Also, I'm going to bet Emilia or Subaru himself is the witch.

PHEW that whale battle was sure one big distraction.

Judging by the remaining number of episodes, I wonder if we will ever learn why Subaru reeks of the witch.

It would seem the remaining episodes are going to be spent defeating the Unseen Hands. Is he himself the witch? IIRC, the story they know is that the witch ate 6 of the 7 sins, and Petelgeuse is something of the Sloth. That lead to me thinking Subaru may have been Pride or Gluttony.... but either all that is untrue, or the scriptwriter is leaving something out.

Oh on another note:

Was there even a purpose of Felt being pulled into the royal elections or even having her agree to sign up? Or was that just to give some closure to her disappearance with Reinhard?

On the note about the elections, I worry it's not going to have any closure on that judging by the remaining episodes.

And what about Subaru's origins? No explanation about how he got into another world? Has anyone ever questioned how his phone still has a charge after so much time? I'm pretty sure he didn't pocket a charger and there is no sign of harnessing electricity in this world.

I'm glad Rem is alright. Quite frankly, given through all of things Rem and Subaru have put up with ever since the dog shaman, I'm surprised Subaru is still set on winning Emilia's heart. I'm also surprised Rem has left the mansion for this long without going home to at least keep in touch with the rest of the household.


All this has me wondering where the show will draw its conclusion. Will it be winning Emilia's love? Emilia winning the election? Emilia changing the world?




Oh. And what the hell is the point of leaving the Bowel Hunter alive all this time? She never appears again. Why would the writers have Reinhard let her live?

The "trend" is, however, is that more and more non-Japanese ships appear there.

Uhm... Actually, Girls und Panzer began in 2012. Kantai Collection at the earliest was the year after.

Part copy, part improv. Was trying to gain an understanding of how the kimono is structured without doing a literal copy-what-I-see. Will take further steps to establishing some sort of shading technique in hopes of developing a style to work from.

But i should really spend time drawing hands more than anything.

That looks pretty neat! Dang, I haven't even drawn in a long time... I should start a piece.

It hasn't arrived yet. Or it has but I'm not back home.

It's literally just a blue outline of her, the Love Live logo and her name. I didn't wanna go too far, I wanna take it out in public so I wanna be subtle in showing my interest...
