Does anyone here aside from Muzaffar actually like Vocaloids? Not for their appearance, but for their purpose.. I'd rather hear GlaDOS trash-talk

There may be a few good songs here and there, but I much rather hear other songs than artificia-- I mean Vocaloid(s) singing . In my opinion, I think Vocaloid isn't as awesome as many people say it is.

Have you ever seen Aeon Flux? Phantom 2040. However, you are right about it being short. Not all Anime's do follow a storyline, Shin-chan, Lucky Star..etc..etc

I think I remember watching the English-dubbed version on Jetix when I was something like 10/11. IIRC, he was fixated on boobs...and I thought he was Chinese (Shin-chan, Jackie Chan...my 10/11 year old mind hadn't been introduced to the "-chan" suffix yet ).

Annnd I'm back! Finished the base colours on the drawing, stopped the recorder and even stuck a post it on the top left corner of my screen covering the apple button so it'll remind me not to shut it off if the thing's still not done processing! If it wasn't for work, I'd have kept going.

The Vocaloids are... ok.. at best.. but they are annoying and the program itself isn't cheap.

Never heard of it, but sounds cool. It sounds similar-ish to a show on my list of things to watch called Zipang. It's an alternate WWII timeline where a modern Japanese ship gets inexplicably transported back in time to the first day of the Battle of Midway. I haven't watched it yet though so I don't know if it's any good either, but it sounds awesome. Plus the ship that gets transported back in time is equipped with the Aegis Combat System, which the SPY radar system I operate and maintain is a part of.

Zipang has been high on my watch list for so long now. I really need to start watching it...

I love Miku. Mostly her appearance though. I think the only song I've heard that I like by any Vocaloid program was Miku singing the Oreimo theme song but only because it sounded cute. Other than that no and I think it's mostly due to the fact that the songs people make with them are songs that suck anyway. Plus the voices aren't all that great to begin with.

GlaDOS's trash talking is superb.




In other news in a couple of days if I disappear for a while it's because the power is out. There's a hurricane on the way.
