Though would that consider Xmen not anime? There are Eastern adaptations of Western Cartoons, however what does consider anime as Anime? We have talked about this before.

If you're talking about the Madhouse adaptions, then yes, I consider those anime.

^ Sabagay...but the problem lies that almost all anime series are typically shown there. So basically being 'mainstream' is a very thin line in Asian countries. Unlike here in the US on which Naruto, Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Sailor Moon, & Dragon Ball are all considered mainstream anime. I still consider Cowboy Bebop, Eva, Gundam, GITS, & Eureka Seven to be in the niche category. ;)

It's not just form, but also presentation. Anime tend to follow a storyline through episodes. Western cartoons are mostly shorts.

^ Or even worse! Back in the old days (Tom & Jerry, Casper, Looney Tunes, etc.), these cartoons ran up to 15min/eps. And none of them are continous!! :scared:

-> Sure there were rare ones like Avatar: The Last Airbender & Ben 10, but none of them captures the flow of each storyline like the Japanese Anime.

Aren't the majority of Pinoys (or South-East Asians) batpoop crazy about Moe-content, especially Hatsune Miku?

You're talking about some of the middle class-kinda wealthy class of Filipinos I think. The lower class are more on the mainstream animes.

On Pinoys -> Well not really when I left PI (back in 2000). I honestly don't know about now though. But my sister said to my that all Shoujo-type anime (Nana, Honey & Glover, etc.) are all the rage, but that was like in 2008. :indiff:

Ok so Konpeki no Kantai is an OVA based on a book and Kyokujitsu no Kantai is a side story and there's another series called Asahi no Kantai.

Reading a summary of it it seems very interesting.

I did but I I always get stuck on one page before switching somewhere else.

Done there mate. And I didn't really like dubstep, but once I start liking it, meh. I'll as usual start with the mainstream. Dubstep ain't my fave though, I'm more of an electro guy.

NGE's so awesome, I started getting mixed up and putting up references to it in a few of my future posts.

@uMadson?: I'm not a big dubstep fan either and hated it a lot when it came out however I do like a lot of Skrillex stuff, especially the regular songs they take where a lot of the song is intact and they add their own style to it. Helps me a lot in Black Ops too.

It's so new they don't even have the thing made yet... Kind of cool though.

Edjt:Told my sister about the figurine last night and she had nothing to say.

Papa found out about it this morning and partially flipped out I spent "$80" on a stupid figure.... which is kind of surprising. I'd have expected my mom to flip out instead.. but I instantly disagreed with his reaction, because about a month ago he went out and bought a chinese figurine of 2 people in traditional wedding attires kissing as a wedding gift for $40... and that looks like ass compared to this DM, so he can go stick a foot up his mouth.

deadmau5 always gets my pick though for obvious reasons, but in the dubstep world, we are on the same side.

I swear I didn't yet. Maybe because I was observant enough to notice stuff and stuff.

I notice one thing though:

In the 3.0 trailer, there's a sentence that says ""PRIVATE CONFERENCE BETWEEN MARI MAKINAMI ILLUSTRIOUS & --------_DO NOT ENTER". I have a hunch that the scene where there was Mari and 3-4 Rei clones is related to that sentence. So does that mean the crossed out name was actually Rei herself?

Other than that, see ya later Sephy, I'm going to find a fast way to download Rebuild 1.11.
